Chapter 5
The boys were called Thomas, Max, Sam and Morgen. I figured it out a few hours later after arriving at the twin's, Morgen's an
d Max's, house. It was nothing much compared to Edward's: a cream coloured Georgian house that's slightly bigger than it should be with a few touches of modern architecture. Inside, it was completely different. It resembles a tech house more than a place to live. All sorts of technology were there. The newest model of the television was there, so was the play box. What interested me the most was the windows. There was a remote control designed especially for it. You can set when it opens and when it closes. It can be used as an alarm, for it is connected to the speakers around the house. You can choose which tune to play and what time to play it as. It was extremely amusing to watch the brothers scurry about to find the control to turn the alarm off. The whole situation was hilarious. I reset the alarm to 1 minute after I've gotten hold of the control and programmed it to play 'The Lazy Song' on full volume and hid the control behind my back. After my ears began to hurt from the song, I gave the control back and everything was back to normal.
Because of the storm raging on outside, I had to stay over at the house with everyone else. We played games on the computer, ate popcorn, ordered ham and pineapple pizza and watched a horror film together. That moment was the best time I've ever had. At that time, the boys seemed to forget who they were, their status and just simply had fun and treated like they've known me forever.
After getting our clothes a mess by 'accidently' getting pizza stuff on it, we went to have a shower. Yep, all at the same time - but of course, not in the same room. There was over 6 bathrooms in the house alone, and every one of them was filled with luxury products. The shampoos and shower gels would have costed a fortune, as did the towel and stuff. At one corner, there was sometime like a bath tank and Jacuzzi mashup with a TV on the wall. On the other side, there was the power shower which I enjoyed immensely. (I have no idea why I used the word immensely so casually, I think we should just blame Jane Eyre =]). By the end of it, my whole body felt like I was went for a spa/ message.
At midnight, we have a midnight feast and were all about to go to sleep until Morgen, the twin with blue eyes suggested that we play a game of truth and dare. Since he was the one to suggest, he was the first to start spinning the bottle.
It landed on Sam, the Korean.
"Truth or Dare?" Morgen asked him.
"Truth," Sam replied, knowing full well how reckless the twins, especially Morgen can be.
"Aww.... Fine then. Who was your first crush?" It was a pretty weak question from Morgen, but judging from the look he had, I could tell that he was going to use this piece of information to embarrasse Sam later on.
"Cindy." Sam answered without showing a hint of emotion, but was probably annoyed at Morgen for asking the question.
He spun the bottle. It landed on Max.
"Truth or Dare?"
"Dare!" Max exclaimed. Typical of Max. He loves dares like he loves boobs.
Sam took a moment to think of one, when he finally decided which one would be best to torture Max.
"Delete every single photo you took of Summer Palmer."
Max's face went pale.
"No, bro..." Max whispered, eyes pleading Sam to change the dare.
"Yes bro," Sam's face was beaming with triumph, "Unless..."
Max's face filled with hope, and all of a sudden the atmosphere in the room suddenly turned intense.
"Unless, you cross dress right now, take 5 photos of it and post it on Instagram." Sam continued. This was just as worse. The photos of Summer Palmer, it turned out, was actually videos of her undressing and such. Reluctantly, Max took his phone out and handed it to Sam. He deleted it all. Including photos of other girls he 'checked out'.
The night went on like that, and we stayed up extra late. The bottle once landed on Edward and he was asked what was the 'what happened' he mentioned at the club. Seeing my nearly white face, Edward told them that I walked into his room when he was almost naked (I didn't), and the boys brushed it off like it was nothing in the beginning.
By the end of the game, I found out quite a lot about the boys. Sam, obviously, was a Korean. He was born here in England and was the 'geek' out of all of them. His grades were way better than the twins and with Edward, it was about the same. Max was one of the twins, and although he looked nearly identical to his twin, he had green eyes instead of blue eyes which his twin had. He was more of a dare devil when being compared to Morgen and was more 'relaxed' on his behaviour around girls. Morgen, on the other hand, was more tidier than Max. He kept his room tidy, his homework tidy and always tried his best. But when he is with Max, he tends to care less about the behaviour boundaries and acts like his brother at times. The twins were both born in America and brought up there. Until they were 5, they were brought over to England to attend the school and were taught how to act like the heirs of their parents' company. Edward, who was 15 - a year older than me- was the heir of another major company. He tries his best at subjects that his father wants him to achieve most and lack effort in other subjects that his father doesn't really care about. At weekends, it is said by the twins that he likes to go horse riding, but of course, I can never trust them, for they are, after all, the twins (they have a tendency to lie).
The next morning that I woke up to was the worst in my life. It was going alright until Max turned the TV on and accidently switched to the news. That's when it all went downhill...
I know it is short - like super short. BUT, I thought I might just as well leave it on a cliff hanger (if you call this one) so yep!
That's chapter 5 done. Comment, like, vote, add to library or watev's. Just spread the word! =)
