1: The Party

James' POV:

We are currently at Gelo and Gelly's wedding reception and gues what? I brought a date goiz.

"So how did you guys meet?"-Pauline.

Nagkatinginan lang kami at napangiti.

"Long story, but let's with the party with Maxine..."

I'm James Villena, 22 years old, single and ready na ready to mingle. Alam nyo masaya naman ako para sa mga kaibigan ko kasi ang stable na ng buhay nila. Pero aminin naten pag nakikita natin na lahat sila may jowa/manliligaw/special someone na, mapapaisip ka nalang na 'sana oil'. Its exhausting to be single grrr. Ilang taon na ko walang jowa.

"James gusto mo ng jowa diba? Sama ka saken sa matchmaking party dali masaya yon!"-Maxine.

That's Maxine Mercedes, call her Max. Ang partygirl ng squad, ewan ko kung pano sya naging ganyan. In our squad, tatlo ang single and isa sya don.

"Listening."

Umupo sya sa tabi ko at inexplain ang details ng party kuno nya. Based from Maxine, The party had only 3 requirements:

1: Make sure you're single

2: You have to bring 16 roses.

3: Wear a formal attire.

So dahil simple lang naman, I agreed to join her.

Ngayon na nasa party na kami. Kaya pala formal attire kase para syang highschool prom. And we were asked to bring sixteen roses because we are meant to give a rose to every man/woman we want to dance with.

Everybody is welcome to join. Being part of the LGBT is not even an issue basta single ka. Actually rainbow ang theme ng event in honor of the LGBT Community.

And with that, I can say na this is one of the best match making parties I have ever been. And yes madami na kong napuntahan na matchmaking parties dahil kay Max.

- back to the present time -

"So pano nga kayo nagkakilala?"-Anne.

"She's one of the sixteen roses."

"Alin sya don?"-Louis.

"Yan ang hulaan nyo."

Sixteen Roses means I had sixteen dances that night. All of them were women (kasi straight po ako). Now its time to introduce you to the sixteen women I met.
