Chapter 3: I promise

I'm so sorry it took so long! I've just been so busy!

After a while Kitty and Joan came back with a few bags of clothes. "I hope these are fine.." Said Kitty as she set the bags down. "They will do for now" Replied Sherlock as he hopped off of the couch. "This bag has your clothes" Said Joan, Handing a bag to Sherlock. He and Joan walked away to their rooms to get changed. Marcus also hopped off of the couch and grabbed the bag with his clothes. He walked upstairs to the bathroom to change.

Gregson tried to get off the couch but fell to the floor with a thud. "Ouch.." He muttered, Standing up. Kitty sighed slightly. "I'll leave you to get changed in here.." She said as she turned and walked downstairs into the kitchen. After a while all of them were down in the kitchen. The boys had simple button up shirts and black pants, Sherlock's shirt was white, Marcus's was dark purple and Gregson's was dark blue. Joan had a white knee length, Flower patterned dress.

"So.. How are we going to change back?.." Asked Marcus, Looking round at them all. "I have no idea, I don't even know who I could talk with" Replied Sherlock with a sigh. "Well, We need to find a way, I can't be stuck like this" Said Gregson, Staring at Sherlock with wide, Blue eyes. "I don't know what to do... It seems we are becoming more child like as well..." Muttered Sherlock. "Well, I'm not taking care of four children for the rest of my life" Piped up Kitty.

Sherlock sent her a glare. "I don't know how, But I will find a way to get us back to normal" He said, Looking around at them all. "That's great and all.. But how? How are you going to get us back to normal? We have no idea how this even happened and no one is going to believe we just magically turned into children" Said Gregson, Frustrated. "We'll find a way.." Said Marcus, Placing a hand on Gregson's shoulder reassuringly.

"I..I need some time alone.." Muttered Gregson as he got off of the chair and walked upstairs, Head down. Sherlock sighed. "I'm gonna go talk to him.." Said Marcus as he stood up and walked upstairs after Gregson. Sherlock, Joan and Kitty continued discussing what to do about the situation. Marcus found Gregson sat on the floor in the living room, His face in his hands. "Captain? You alright?" Asked Marcus as he stood behind Gregson.

Gregson looked up at him, His eyes teary. "Hey.. Everything's gonna be fine" Said Marcus as he sat down next to Gregson. "I.. I just hate this..." Muttered Gregson, Looking down at his hands. "I know, But we will find a way to fix this.. I promise" Replied Marcus softly, Wrapping an arm around Gregson's shoulders. Gregson lay his head on Marcus's shoulder. "Thanks.." Said Gregson quietly. "No problem" Replied Marcus with a smile.
