Stargazer's POV I'm in my anti-void thinking of things to do since I was bored and I decided I would try finding a new AU to study, I teleported to a new AU I haven't studied about and found myself in an AU called DREAMTALE.It was an interesting AU from the start, I hid in a big tree and found 2 types of fruit growing from it, one of them is a GOLDEN fruit and the other is a BLACK one. I looked down finding a skeleton with a yellow cape and is wearing something that looks like a crown with a light blue shirt with dark blue pants and yellow boots. He seemed nice, like the friend you have that's too pure for this world, he was surrounded by all types of people and looked like he was talking about a tree and it's fruit...oh..he is talking about the one I'm in... It seemed like everyone liked him and treated him as if he was a star. I turned and looked at the other side of the tree and saw another skeleton wearing what seemed to be a crown with a crescent moon symbol on it. No one was near him except 2 people throwing stuff at him like soda cans. Seeing this,it made me mad because it seemed like he didn't even fight back! Yet I didn't allow myself to interrupt what was happening. -small time skip- After close observation I have learned that those 2 skeletons are brothers and that one is called DREAM and the other being NIGHTMARE, Dream seems like he is the more loved brother of the 2 while Nightmare being the hated one. It seems like they guard the fruit of the tree. One of fruit representing positivity and the other representing negativity. Dream being the guardian of the golden positivity fruit and Nightmare being the guardian of the black negativity fruit it seems like this is the reason that they are not treated equally. The people praise dream for being the guardian of the golden fruit but HATE Nightmare for guarding the black one. I can't understand why they hate Nightmare for guarding the black fruit! It makes no sense! Finally, I decide to jump down from the tree without anyone seeing me. "Excuse me but are you Nightmare?" I asked. "H-huh? Y-yes that's me..." he replied. "Well I was wondering,why do people not like you?" "I-I don't know to be honest t-they just do..." "That seems dumb." "Excuse me?" "I said I think it's dumb to hate someone yet they don't think they did anything wrong to be hated for." I said firmly. "Well don't you hate me?-" I cut him off saying "Hell no! Why would I hate you? You never did anything wrong!" "D-do you really think that? O-or are you just toying with me like the last person who acted like they cared.." He said with a tear forming. "I really think your a good person!" I said but he looked like he was in disbelief and in confusion. "N-no one has ever told me that..t-thank you!" He showed a smile,a real one. "You really should smile more you look nicer like that!" "But I do-" "I mean,really smiling. Not a smile that hides the pain." "How did you know?" He said in confusion. "The truth is I was watching and it seemed like you were in pain every time you tried to smile." "O-oh..that makes sense" "Wait how rude of me I haven't even told you my name! I'm Stargazer but you can call me star for short!" "That's a nice name,well you already know my name so I don't need to tell you" "Yeah" *her necklace with a pendant that looked like a save point started to glow* "Oh looks like I need to go now but I will come back soon!" she began to walk away and when she passed a tree she vanished.
Nightmare's POV After my interaction with star I sat down leaning on to the tree and said to myself "What a strange girl..." She was the first to be so kind to talk to me in the way she did,I hope she was not lying when she said she would come back soon. After that my day came by like every other day,people shouting at me, throwing thins at me and all the other everyday things they would do to me.
