Have sweet dreams

strange new adventure

You bounced up and down in your seat as your mother and you drove up to your new home. To put it simply, you were more that ecstatic to be moving, and to a forest area. your last home had been not as green or welcoming.. but you were moving past that! 'A new adventure!' As your mother would say.

As soon as the car stopped you practically jumped out.

"_____!? calm down sweetie! Don't need you getting hurt badly." your mother laughed at your eccentric behavior as she got out of the car as well.

"I know!" you replied sarcastically while looking at the outside of your new home. A red A-frame house stood before you. it's windows clear with stained glass borders, and porches on the top level and base level that wrapped around.

"Looks better than it did online!" handing you your box of stuff as your mother took hers as well. Having had most of your stuff already moved by the moving company you only had left a box of your most precious items.

Walking into the house it seemed to give off a cabin like feeling to it. you wandered around checking out the rooms before checking out the top level, your room.

It seemed quite welcoming, your bed was already in the room as well as your boxes and items. Looking around at it you put down the box in your arms.

"Oh cool!" you said aloud as you ran over to the double doors opening them to the small balcony.

You sighed feeling the breeze and fresh air blow through your hair and the warm sun on your skin. Yet it suddenly stopped...

"Huh?" opening your eyes you saw that the whole world had somehow gone into gray scale. rubbing your eyes, you tried to see if it was some mind trick. it didn't seem to be a trick.

After a while the world suddenly went back to color and everything seemed as though the grayscale moment hadn't happened. the breeze and warm rays returned.

"Odd..." you muttered before going inside to unpack.
