Harry POV
Harry awoke with a start. He looked at the digital clock next to his bed 3:30 in neon blue.
He lay back down but sat up when he heard something rapping on the glass...He walked to the window and pushed it open, the night air cooling his face he looked at the moon overhead, it was a full moon with a orange ring, a sign of trouble not far behind.
The air rustling over the castle sounded like sad moaning cries and Harry closed the windows, trying to shut out the creepy feeling he felt, like some bad omen was lurking just around the corner. Harry crawled back into bed and fell back into a dreamless sleep.
Just beyond the forbidden forest floating high in the nocturnal air, bathed in moonlight & gazing in the direction of the castle was a dementore. It's wraith like form clothed in a black gossamer cloak
that flapped in the wind, it let out a wail that sounded like moaning wind blowing, a sign for others to come.
A few had gotten close to Hogworts
One had flown close to the Gryffindor windows and knocked on it, when it saw a boy with messy hair get up it flew away silently as the wind.
The boy opened it and looked around, saying to nothing “just the wind”
Draco Pov
Draco awoke at 3:30, walked to the big Slytherin bath with dark hunter
green tiles. He slept very little that night for very distantly he
thought he recognized the wail of a dementore. While others unaware of
it would mistake the sound as the wind blowing.
but the castle didn't shake like it usually did when a strong wind blew through it, like a storm. No, there was absolutely nothing that could have done it.
Draco was just glad they were not able to come inside.
