What's a duelist?

So about Izuku the duelist I'm converting it to something else if this one-shot I'm writing feels good enough for me. In not gonna disclose the name yet but it's something that not a lot of people have considered writing about. I, of course, had to change the characters to BNHA characters. This characters might seem a bit of a weird choice at first but then I said:" I don't care I'm writing about this."
