"Hey, guys!" Raven says to Bellamy and Clarke.

"Hey Raven," Bellamy says back.

"Murphy," Clarke says acknowledging the man standing next to Raven.

"Ah, Clarke. Much missed!" Murphy responds sarcastically.

"Clarke!" a young girl says as she climbs out of her pod.

"Madi! I've missed you so much!" Clarke runs over to the girl.

I see them all embrace as Jordan and I stand away. Raven and Shaw. Bellamy and Madi. Murphy and Shaw. Raven and Emori. I am frozen. After they all finish talking their focus shifts to us.

"And you are?" Murphy asks aggressively.

"Jordan. Jordan Green. I'm Harper and Monty's son."

"They didn't go to sleep?" Raven asks.

"No," Bellamy responds. There is a moment of silence.

"And you?" Shaw asks.

"I'm Hope."

"Hope? As in Diyoza and McCreary's daughter?" Murphy asks, more aggressive.

"Yeah." Madi comes at me.

"Your father was a terrible man who killed thousands of my people. You're a disgrace," she spits at me.

"Madi!" Clarke shoots back, "I'm so sorry. She doesn't mean that,"

"It's fine," I say holding back tears.

"We have to talk," Bellamy says to the group. They all start to walk away, shooting stares at me.

"Are you coming, Hope?" Bellamy asks as they walk away.

"Just give me a minute," A tear rolls down my cheek. I knew that he saw it.

"It's okay. Take all the time you need. We'll meet you in the bridge," I nod as he walks away. Once I am sure he has left, I fall to the ground.

My mother told me about my father. I know he was a terrible man, but she also told me about these people. In the stories, they weren't like this. They didn't hate people just because of their blood. They were my idols. My
heroes. "I am not a disgrace," I say quietly as I start to stand. "I am not a disgrace," I say a little louder, fully standing. "I am not a god damn disgrace," I yell. I wipe the tears from my eyes. As I walk out of the room.

As I walk into the bridge, I see them talking. They all turn to look at me, most of them glaring.

"Okay. I guess I have your attention. I didn't realize you guys would judge me based on who my parents are. The people my mother talked about were caring and compassionate. I don't see these people. I see cowards who don't know a thing about me," I address Madi, "You may be Heda but let me tell you something. I don't care about your title. You don't know me. You may know ABOUT me but you don't know me. I know who I am," They were all speechless. "I also know that my mother was a great person. My father, yeah sure he was an ass, but my mother is the only reason I am alive today. Which brings me to my next point... I have a tumor. That's why my mother stayed awake." Jordan looks to me with confusion. Bellamy puts his hand on my back. Jordan's confusion grows stronger. "When I was younger my mother would tell me stories about you all and say, 'These are your people'. So be my damn people," A tear ran down my cheek.
