Maaria's POV Cindy woke me up from my sleep but I didn't mind. I still had to introduce her to Carrie, Christopher, and Henny to make sure she doesn't get scared when she sees them.
"Miss Maria! How's my dress? Is it pretty?" She asked filled with hope and happiness. She just found out her Father died and this is how she reacts? Well I suppose for a four year old she doesn't quit understand the meaning of death just yet. Taking me back to the time when Cory and Carrie didn't understand why Father wasn't coming back home or why Mother wasn't happy like she normally was.
"It's beautiful. Do you want to meet my family? Today is my brother's graduation and we need to get ready soon."
Cindy smiles a little bit perhaps at the thought of meeting or seeing people and I went through her suitcase to find something else for her to wear. I finally found a pink dress that had flowers inside the tutu and sparkle around the waist area. After helping put on the dress, I did her hair into a ponytail, adding a pink flower hair clip to match her dress. And finally to top it all off, white shoes for the little princess. I smiled and she looks back at me.
"What will you wear Miss Maria?" I went to my closet and left her at my desk, coming out with a pastel with flowers imprint on it. Cindy's eyes widen up and she clapped her hand,"Pretty! Pretty!"
I smiled and quickly changed into the dress so that we could catch breakfast before heading to Christopher's graduation. I picked up Cindy and we went downstairs where Henny and Carrie were in the kitchen. The table was already set and I smiled as Cindy was on my hips, being shy a little bit.
"Henny, Carrie, I'd like you to meet Cindy. Cindy, this is Henny our beloved friend, and Carrie is my little sister." Cindy looks at them both and smiles, giving them a shy wave. I smile and sit her down next to me at the table,"Christopher is at his school, getting ready for us to arrive, yes?" Carrie nods her head going back to eating her breakfast and Henny adds food to the table before all of us sat down and ate together.
There was scrambled eggs, bacon, toasted bread, butter, cream, orange juice, milk, coffee, and some water. Cindy ate eggs and some bread toast majorly of the time I was feeding her as Cindy started to warm up to Henny and Carrie. After breakfast, me and Carrie helped Henny while Cindy was watching some TV. Carrie had to fix her hair and Henny was busy today to visit her grandkids.
