Chapter 2

Thanks to Mr Alfredo, I'm now feeling better. He gave me some pain killers and the rest of the day off. Now I know why girls are forever drooling over him. He's handsome asf and is very sweet. It's a pity that he's just the schools nurse because I would have loved for him to teach me... Just staring at his gorgeous face.

I'm now in the bathroom washing my face coz that bitch Kaitlyn poured sparkling water on me. Good thing I don't wear makeup coz that would've been a disaster.

Now, what to do. It's only 12:03 and I got the test of the school day off. I don't wanna go home coz I know for a fact that mom is home , probably sleeping because of her hangover.
Yea, my moms an alcoholic , she's been one for as long as I can remember. But I'm used to it. I'll sometimes try and talk her out of it, but it's no use. It always ends up with me getting a slap on my face, her telling me to mind my own business.

As I step out of the restroom the school bell rings. Signaling for next class. Just 5 minutes later I see Alicia by her locker and I rush to her.
"Hey", I say to her and she looks at me. "You look better "she tells me. "Thanks, "I smile "Mr Alfredo helped me alot"i continued. She responded by wiggling her eye brows at me. I laughed. " Stop doing that,  nothing happened. He just gave me the rest of the day off and told me to rest."I tell her. And she gave me a wide smile but then frowned as if she just realised something. "So I'm going to be alone for the rest of the day"she says in a frown.
Suddenly a smile grew back on her face "I have an idea, "she says , giving me a devilish grin."I can leave with u, it's not like anyone noticed me " she said and I glared at her. "Are you mad?" I asked her. " Just come" she said, completely ignoring me and pulled me towards the schools entrance doors.

She took out her car keys and opened the door. She got in and looked at me, still standing outside. "Are u gonna come in or what? " she asked. I looked at her in disbelief. I thought I was the one who got the day off.
Anyway I got in her car and she drove off.

"So where are we going ?" I asked her.
"Uhm, food ,duh" she replied, rolling her eyes playfully. "Woo hoo" I said out loud, out of excitement. She joined in. And we both ended up laughing.
Boss Ass Bitch by Nicki Minaj played and we immediately looked at each other, smirking. I turned up the volume and we started rapping along with Nicki. "Rule #1 to be a boss ass bitch, never let a clown nigga try and play you,  if he play you then rules #2 fuck his best friend " we both rapped along like crazy maniacs. "Never let a nigga play you girl"she screamed out loud.  And we both laughed.
Gosh I love my friend so much. I don't know what I'll do without her. Our bond is just so strong.

She pulled in the shopping centre's parking lot and we got out of the car.
"Where we heading bestie? " she asks as we walking towards the food court. "I'm craving a McFlurry ,so McDonalds it is " I say giving her a wide smile.
"I'm not surprised" she says as she rolled her eyes playfully.
We ordered our food and got a table. We now sitting waiting for our order and Alicia busy with her phone. "I'm going to ladies, be right back" I tell her. She nods and goes back to her phone.

"Man,  I feel like a new woman " I muttered to myself. I didn't know I really need to pee coz damn it was like a river flow. ( Sorry if it's TMI but I just feel so relieved).
I'm now washing my hands and looking at myself through the mirror.
A girl with her brown hair tied in a tight bun came out of the restroom. She stood next to me to wash her hands. I looked over at her and she seemed so familiar. "Hey" I said to her. The moment she looked at me, I literally froze in place. I didn't know what to do. Was I dreaming. I had no words. She looked exactly like me. And judging from the look on her face, she felt the same way I did
