I took out my phone and saw that I had a message. I clicked on it and saw that it was from him. Ain't it ironic that I saved my boyfriend's number as 'Future Husband'?

Can we meet up in 10 minutes at the local park?

Okay, now, for the outfit. I went to my closet and dig through it.

I took out a black blouse with shorts. Nah...too exposing.

I took out a pink dress. Nah...too girly.

Too short

Too fancy

Too shiny

Too tight

Too dark

Aha! Perfect.

I went to stand in front of the mirror and started to brush my hair. I didn't apply any make-up, then he would think that I'm dressing to impress. So, I just took one last look at the mirror before heading out the door.

"Mom, I'm going to the park for a while!" I called as I walked to the front door.

"Okay, honey! Be back home before lunch!" she called back. Okay, I know that I'm 22 and all but you still need your mom with you till you have a husband, right?

"Will do," I said as I went out and climbed into my car. I started the engine and took off towards the park.

It didn't take me long to reach because the park was nearby. I killed the engine and got out off the car to the park. The park wasn't that crowded since it was almost lunch time and everyone would be home by now.

My phone vibrated in my back pocket. I took it out and saw that it was a text from Eric.

I see you. Walk straight to the big tree ahead.

I looked up and saw the big tree he referred to but I don't see him. I walked towards the tree anyway. Immediately, I got another text from Eric.

Now, look up.

I looked up into the branches and saw something glittering there. Luckily, I was wearing my heels, so I could reach it. I took it out of the branch and gasped.

It was a beautiful chain with a diamond heart pendant.

My phone vibrated again signaling that I got another text.

Walk to the pond on your right.

I put the chain on and started walking to the pond. As expected, another text came by.

Look in between the pink tulips.

I put my hand in between the pink tulips and felt something soft in there. If it was any other girl, they might've thought it was a bug and run away but not me. I love bugs. They are living things too, I have no idea why would they be scared of them. Anyways, I took the soft thing out and saw that it was a box. I opened it and saw a beautiful silver bracelet. I took the bracelet out of the box. I ran my fingers along the beautiful engraving, My Angel.

Those words rang in my ear like a chant.

My Angel...

I put the bracelet on and smiled to myself. My phone vibrated cutting me from my reverie. Another text from him.

Walk to the lavender meadow.

That's pretty far to walk but oh, well. I'm just going to do it for my curiousity. I sighed to myself as I started walking towards the lavender meadow. After walking for a while, my heels started to hurt my ankles so I decided to walk bare-footed.

After a few groaning and jumping around when I accidently stepped on a sharp pebble, I finally reached the meadow. I looked around in search of Eric.

Suddenly, something warm and soft covered my eyes, "Eric?" I chuckled, trying to take his hands from my eyes.

"Just keep your eyes closed for me, will you?" He said as I nodded. He removed his hand but I kept my eyes closed, "Open your eyes now," he said.

I opened my eyes slowly and gasped covering my mouth in utter shock, "Eric," I whispered.

He kneeled on one knee and took my hands in his, "Zoe Grace Kingsley, the moment I laid eyes on you, I fell madly in love with your beauty and everything about you. You drove me crazy and I've been waiting so long for this moment. So, here I am, asking you this. Will you marry me?" he said, opening the tiny box he was holding and revealing a beautiful diamond ring inside.

"Oh, my God, Eric," I was so shocked. I don't know what to do, "Yes!" I exclaimed, overly excited. He chuckled and placed the ring on my finger. He stood up smiling at me. I looked at the ring, "It's beautiful."

"Just like you," he whispered, hugging me. I hugged him back, "I love you, Zoe," he whispered in my ear.

"I love you too, Eric."
