I'd heard the metal beneath my weight chime as I'd leaned against it my eyes were directed to the loud chattering in the distance. A coin was tossed into the air for a moment the table crowded around by other boys was drawn to complete silence. Heads. "Aw Come on Harvey how do you always win" Harvey Dent was a master at the current card game obsession but I was never fond of games that based your skills on faith. "I guess I'm just lucky," he said with this grin. If I'd cared I'd check to see if he was cheating. But picking fights with other large companies isn't something I do on a whim it isn't something I do at all but my father might allow it since the Wayne name is the highest-grossing company in this school. What can they do? "It's going be weird when the system comes out huh," Tommy said as he'd began to stuff some books from his locker into his bookbag. "You can't bring it to school you know" He glanced up with a book in his hand. "That's all their going to be talking about." Tommy put the remaining book into his bag and slammed his locker shut. "We're playing chess today right?" Tommy asked as we walked out of the school. "But you always win" Tommy grinned as I'd held my hands out in frustration. "Then do you want to know the secret"

"You have a secret?" I said in a monotone flat tone. "Yea I'm surprised you didn't catch on straight A's and you can't even win a match in chess"

"You have straight A's too"

"The difference is that I win and you don't"

"Well, when you put it that way." There was a brief silence "Would you just tell me already so I can beat you"

"Okay okay. So what you need to do is stop wearing your moves on your face"

"That doesn't make any sense" Tommy put an arm over my shoulder pulling me near to hear him whisper. "When you play I can tell everything you're about to do before you do it"

"How?" I asked him absurd my poker face can't be as bad as he claims I watch my father in a business meeting all the time and not once did I see him crack. "It's not something you just do you have to learn it." I'd frowned "Don't worry I'll be happy to be a mentor with unlimited bragging rights of course." I'd pushed him off of me as I'd walked towards the limo quickly jumping in with Tommy on my tail. "Straight home master Bruce," Alfred asked as Tommy sat in and closed the door shut. "Yes Alfred"

"Your father is out for his final meeting-"

"About the system!" Tommy interrupted. "Do you know how cool it is my friend is funding the new it thing" I'd sighed "It's okay I guess."

"How aren't you excited you got to do a test run of the game right" I'd nodded "Yea it was okay I'm just not into games."

"If there was a Gray Ghost game I bet you'd be a lot more into games" Tommy snicker when I'd glared at him. "Gray ghost is the best tv show ever don't you dare talk bad about it." He tapped my shoulder when I'd refused to look at him. "So what you want the Wr to have a gray ghost game just tell your dad I'm sure he'll pay some money for them to put it at the top of their list of games to make next"

"That's not the point I can't just ask him to do that"

"When has your dad ever passed up a point to spoil you he even congratulated you when you told him about me"

"Do you have to always bring that up"

"Why not I thought it was cute?.... Listen, Bruce, your dad loves you there nothing you can do to make him be disappointed-"

"Can we talk about something else?"

"Um yeah."

"Besides you have no right you don't even play that card game"
