So week 1 of classes have begun and is almost finished and me and Aiden have barely communicated with each other after our 'moment.' Even though we are sort of in the same social circle we stay out of each other's way and try not to be around each other for too long.
My friends have each voiced their opinion about the situation and each conversation has ended in me saying, "We do not have sexual tension" or, "We do not secretly like each other!" And living together has been even worse- breakfast: we avoid each other by either one of us skipping breakfast, or the other one just making breakfast and eating alone in their bedroom or in the kitchen. You could imagine how awkward the weekends are going to be if this isn't gonna be brought up by anyone of us because of our ego being hurt.
Today is Friday and almost one week the 'situation' happened.
"When are you going to talk to him about it Mox?" Lilli pried, "I can see it has been bothering you" She says looking at my distracted hands- me playing with the ring on my fingers. As soon as she saw this, I stopped and I looked interested and focused on what she was saying.
"Like I've said Lils, I'm not going to talk to him about it unless he brings it up. He's the one who started it by sneaking up on me in the kitchen-like a creep may i add- and then backed me up onto the counter and sexily whispered those things to me." I say, looking pass her and onto Ky approaching with Aiden, the two looking like they're in a serious conversation.
"Judging by that explanation, Ren... You sound like you might be developing a crush on him" Ellie said, raising her eyebrow suggestively and smiling like a cheshire cat. Just as I was about to flip her off, the wicked witch of the east and her little minion approached us and I mentally rolled my eyes because her little minion was glaring at me.
"Little crush on whom? Aww has the little bird finally learnt what boys are and is having her first crush?" The wicked witch commented and I rolled my eyes.
"At least I'm not opening my legs for each and every boy that just smiles my way" I dared and her face went beet red with embarrassment, leading to giggles around her from my friends.
"Well, at least I'm not pining over someone that is totally out of my league" her minion chimed in.
That is true, even IF I were to like Aiden, he'll be way out of my league... Right now, all we are is roommates who kinda-sorta-don't-speak-to-each-other. And obviously me- having dreams about him every night which are sort of coming true.
"That's rich coming from someone who is still salty for being a one night stand with Aiden, huh?" Mimi snickered, causing the two to huff and walk away without saying another word.
