Part 1 Garreg Mach Monastery

Pov: No One

It's the year 1180 at Garreg Mach Monastery Durring the Guardian Moon. The students and the professors at the academy are enjoying the snow fall while they train to become knights. The academy is split between three different houses. The Blue Lion house is led by Dimtri Alexande Bladud the prince of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, The Golden Deer house is led by Claude Von Riegan the grandson to the leader of the leicester alliance, And finally the Black Eagles house is led by Edelgard Von Hresvelgr the princess to the Adrestian Empire. Each house has it's own different personality but they all have the same goal. Become knights of Fodlan.

Pov: Byleth

Everyone has improved since the first time we met. My teachings have been useful to them and it makes me feel happy. I decided to just stand out of their way and let them train so they would get better at using their weapons. I look and see Caspar sparing with Petra and notice that they both are very experienced with their weapons. I look around the training grounds and see that the others are sparing as well. (Bernadetta and Ferdinand, Dorothea and Linhardt, Edelgard and Hubert) The training session was cut short because lady Rhea wants to see the house leaders and their professors for some news about the upcoming festival that takes place every year.

"The Guardian moon festival is taking place next week so I requested you all here to plan" Were the words lady Rhea told us before she left the room we were all room which was a room that had many papers for writing and a blueprint of the monastery. "I guess were getting started" Claude said out loud to break the silence that was in the room. After Claude's "comment" we all got to work and began talking about the main theme we want the festival to be. Dimitri came up with the idea of a knights theme, Manuela thought of a royal ball theme. Claude thought of jokes, Hanneman thought of a regular party and Edelgard thought of a mixture between the three kingdoms. I couldn't think of any ideas and everyone liked Edelgard's so we went with her idea.

The planning part wan't difficult but the design part was excruciatingly painful because we couldn't find a good way to decorate the monastery. The only design part we had were the three main colors red, blue and gold representing the three houses. "Well this certainly is the worst part of any festival" Manuela commented and we all agreed. I never have actually have been to a festival so I have no idea what there like. My students always try to describe what thy are to me but It never works. The only thing we could all think of was trying to get a basic design for the festival. After hours of thinking everyone agreed on having the festival in the opening hall and when the snow starts to fall everyone could walk outside and enjoy the snowfall.

Pov: No One 

After their initial plan was complete. The three house leaders and professors told lady Rhea their what they came up with and requested the needed decorations in which she happily gave to them. The last few days were having the three houses and the staff at the officers academy decorate the monastery for their yearly festival. Today is the day that the festival takes place so classes and training were canceled for the day so everyone at the monastery could relax and prepare for later in the day. The festival starts at 4:30 and it is currently 1:08 so there is a lot of time for everyone to relax.

Pov: Byleth

It is currently 1:08 and the festival doesn't start till 6:30 so their is plenty of time to try on some formal clothes that my students bought me. While I was trying on some clothes Sothis decided to ask what was going on and why I was dressed up in a formal outfit. I told her that it is for the festival later today and she got all excited. "I didn't know you enjoyed going to these" she told me surprised and I explained that this would be my first one. When I said that Sothis was shocked and began telling me things to wear so I would look nice for later.

I was in my room for about two hours because Sothis kept telling me to try on different formal wear and combinations to try and look my best which was tiring. I walked over to the dining hall and was greeted by Flayn who was enjoying a nice fish meal. "Hello professor, would you like anything?" she happily asked and I told her that I was thinking of some stew and would just like to relax for the remaining time before the festival. "I hope you enjoy your rest professor" Flayn tells me before she leaves the dining hall after finishing her fish.

I ordered and my stew and ate while thinking about the festival and how fun it would be. I would get to spend my first festival with my father and my students along with all my friends here at the monastery. When I finished my stew I threw it away and began to walk towards my room. Along the way I spotted Dorothea taking with Bernadetta, Dimitri laughing with Claude, Hilda and Lysithea talking and Dedue joking with Felix. It really it nice living here at the monastery surrounded by my students and friends. When I arrived in my room the first thing I did was close my door and lay down on my bed feeling my eyes getting heavier and heaver until they were covering my vision and I felt like I was floating.

Pov: ???

I need a place to stay because where ever I go there are always bandits who want to kidnap me. They already injured me badly and there is nothing I can do about it. My body just aches from my injuries and also not  eating or drinking for the past few days. I can't remember anything that has happened to me before coming here but I do remember one thing. Find my mommy because I know she will protect me from any more danger, but where is she? I can't remember her face or her name. Mommy where are you? I need you. The only thing I can see is a stairway leading to a building. Please be up there mommy.

Pov: Byleth

"Wake up already it's almost time for the festival!" were the words I first heard when I was woken up by somebody. When I opened my eyes I saw that it was Sothis who was trying to wake me up. "It's 6:17  so you need to hurry if you don't want to miss anything" Sothis told me when I got up and began changing into my formal wear. When I left my room it was 6:24 so I quickly ran over to the opening hall where everyone else was waiting for the festival to start. "It will be time for our annual festival in just a few moments so if everyone would please quiet down I have a speech to give about our students and professors" Lady Rhea called out which made everyone silent and look up at her. 

Lady Rhea's speech was about how much of a help the professors are at teaching the students and also giving them praise for not giving up a fight unless in battle. She closed her speech off with a big thank you before the clock hit 6:30 meaning that when she finished her speech it was time for the festival. "Our annual Guardian moon festival will now begin!" Lady Rhea called out as the doors opened in the opening hall to reveal the snowfall outside. It was a peaceful and beautiful sight to see especially when the student went outside and began to have a little snowball fight between the three houses.

Manuela and Hanneman joined their class so I joined mine as well and I ended up seeing Flayn, Seteth, Shamir, Catherine, Cyril and even lady Rhea joining in on the fun. Father decided to be the judge in our little fight which was now a four way fight between the three houses and the archbishops little army. "This is a four way battle royale between the Golden Deer house, the Blue Lion house, the Black Eagle house and the Knights of Seiros" Father announced as he was ready to begin the fight. The rules were no weapons, if your hit your out, if your out you can still help your team by giving them snowballs and have fun. "Alright everyone, 3...2...1...GO!"

"The first thing we need to do is build protection from enemy snowballs" I told my class and they all agreed making walls from the snow  and also making snowballs to throw at anyone who tries to run over to our area. The snowball fight has been fun and also challenging because it's hard to think of a good strategy when you don't know if you would get out or not. I tried quickly thinking of a plan but none of them seemed to work and even Sothis tried but she couldn't think of anything either. 

I was trying to think but my focus was broken by something crawling in the snow looking extremely weak. I ran over to it and noticed that was a little girl freezing in the snow all alone. When father noticed me he stopped the snow ball fight and came running over to help me. "What happened?" he asked as I replied telling him that she just crawled up here. "We need to get her help right away" he told me then ran over to tell the other. Lady Rhea came running over with father having concerned in her eyes. "Let me see the girl" she commanded it and I picked her up over to lady Rhea. "She's been out here for too long and hasn't eaten or drank anything in days" she told us and instructed that we rush over to the infirmary at once. I hope she will be okay.
