Part 5 The Past

Pov: Edelgard

I woke up with Bedelia in my arms still asleep so I quietly got up and got dressed. "It's been a while since I felt love from someone" I said to myself when I finished getting dressed. I got some clothes for Bedelia out when I felt a sharp pain in my head. While this was happening I heard people opening there doors to start their day. The pain wouldn't stop and I soon felt myself passed out on the floor. 

Pov: Bedelia

I woke up from my dream and saw mommy laying on the floor unconscious so I ran outside to have someone help me but when I opened the door everyone was gone. I didn't want to leave mommy on he ground so I ran outside and was spotted by miss Lysithea. "What's wrong Bedelia your looking worried?" she told me and I began to tell her what happened to mommy. When I finished telling her what happened we went upstairs and miss Lysithea picked up mommy and carried her to the infirmary. When we walked in miss Manuela told us to help her see if mommy was okay so we checked her health and she told us that mommy passed out from some magic. 

Miss Manuela told us that she didn't know where the magic came from but that mommy will wake up in a few hours so miss Lysithea decided to take care of me until then. When we left the first place we went was the dinning hall to eat because neither of us had any food when we woke up. Miss Lysithea let me pick out what we would eat so I chose some pork with a side of mash potatoes. That dish felt familiar and it made me feel sad but I couldn't remember why. Miss Lysithea noticed this and asked if I was okay so I put on a fake smile and told her I was alright.

We ate our food silently and when we finished i ran out of the dinning hall to the infirmary because I was worried about mommy. When I got there Miss Manuela was checking on mommy and told me that she will be alright it was just a sleep spell put on her by accident. When sh told me this I felt relaxed a little but before she left she told me "Don't get close to her thought or else you'll be asleep too" I wanted to cuddle with mommy so much but I couldn't go near her so I decided to just sit on a chair near her and watch mommy sleep. After a while of watching her I was bored and wanted to cuddle with mommy so I broke miss Manuela order and went up to mommy. I climbed up onto the bed and positioned myself next to her and made her arm comfort me because I feel lonely without her. I closed my eyes and thought about mommy then I let the spell affect me.

Pov: Byleth

I just heard what happened to Edelgard and I immediately went to the infirmary to check up on her. When I entered the room I saw Edelgard asleep with Bedelia in her arms and noticed that none of them are injured or hurt which confused me. While I was thinking Manuela walked in and explained to me what happened to Edelgard and also that Bedelia wasn't suppose to get near her. While we were talking about what to do Edelgard's eyes started to open and she was confused on how she got in the infirmary. Manuela told her that Bedelia and Lysithea carried her here but Edelgard was confused. "Who's Bedelia?" she asked which got us all confused.

We explained to her that Bedelia was her daughter which shocked her and she told us that Bedelia is not her's because she is only 16 and she's a 5 year old. When she said Manuela and I feel stupid because we didn't think about there ages. We were then talking about who Bedelia's parents are when we heard a small yawn coming from the bed. We all turned our heads and saw Bedelia waking up but when she saw our faces she began to tear up. "Mommy?" she said looking at Edelgard before getting off the bed and giving her a tight hug. "Your alive" she said while beginning to get confused because Edelgard is alive but Bedelia was shocked that she is. 

Bedelia was to busy hugging Edelgard that she didn't even notice me or Manuela standing there confused at was going on. When she did noticed us Bedelia started to get scared and hide behind Edelgard. "What are the enemy doing here?" she asked which shocked Manuela and I but Edelgard was too confused as to what she asked. "These are our friends" she said but Bedelia shook her head no. "That one there, they...they...they killed you!" she yelled out while pointing at me which shocked all of us and Bedelia started tearing up. "I don't want to loose my mommy again" she said as she fell to the ground crying. We were all trying to figure out what was going on but then father ran in the infirmary and told us that enemies are attacking Garreg Mach.
