DISCLAIMER:

I DO NOT OWN ANY CHARACTER OF TEEN WOLF, THEY BELONG TO JEFF DAVIS. I ONLY OWN MY ORIGINAL CHARACTER, HALLIE LAUREL AND HER ORIGINAL LINES. ENJOY :)

"Do it," Deucalion stepped into the light with two other alphas behind him, cornering me into an alley. "Do it, or we rip out the throat of your precious brother- Stiles is it? We'll tear out his throat and make you watch helplessly, unable to help him. You'll be to blame for his final breath. You'll be the monster to blame for your own brother's death! "

Sheer terror bubbled up in my gut as I backed against the rough brick wall behind me. "Alright, fine. I'll do it," I choked out, my tears betraying the false bravery I tried to show.

"I'll kill Derek Hale."

Hallie Laurel

Her mom had always said my name reminded her of springtime: blooming, delicate flowers, gentle breezes, and beautiful pastel colors smeared across the sky. That's what her mother would always say, and she was. Hallie Laurel was the Sheriff's little girl, sweet and innocent unlike her spastic elder brother, Stiles. She was an innocent girl with round, green doe eyes and a shining smile always plastered on her pink lips. However, she wasn't innocent that day.

The day she agreed to kill Derek Hale.

If you had the chance to save someone you love by taking another's life, would you? Stiles was one of the most important things to her, much the reason why her 'winning smile' held a sad demeanor to it at school. To put it simply, the students weren't always the nicest to Hallie's brother, but she couldn't fathom why. Stiles wasn't necessarily a bad looking guy, he was actually quite handsome, but her father always told them "Hallie Laurel, you be careful of all the boys chasing after you in high school. Don't worry Stiles, if I found a pretty girl, so can you." Then he would shake his head and chuckle softly in awe of my mother's beauty- and she was truly, unbelievably gorgeous. When she was gone, their dad got into drinking, so Stiles' best friend, Scott McCall, was all the siblings really had. Don't take it the wrong way, their father loves then more than everything in the universe combined, he was only hurting. Truth be told, Hallie Laurel always fond of Scott and thought of him as her hero; she would have told him about that night in the alley, but Deucalion growled out, "Tell anyone of this- and I mean anyone- and we kill everyone you love, which includes your precious brother, father, and Scott McCall," before he left her alone in the darkness. Hallie's feelings for Scott is a story for another day, this is the story about a seemingly innocent girl with a hidden agenda falling unwillingly head over heels for her target.

A single warm tear rolled down Hallie Laurel's cheek, but no expression or smile washed over her face as she picked up the gun filled with wolfsbane laced bullets.

Love is a war that cannot be won.
