Haidar got up from his prayer mat and kept the Quran he was reciting back to the shelf before quickly dashing towards the bathroom to take a quick shower.
Having fully showered, he came out all dressed up to go to the office. They've been given an assignment to be carried out tomorrow which will take them few days to conclude and come back. They were to go to the boarder of Nigeria in search of rich rock, an assignment by the federal government.
Haidar, being a prominent geologist, every difficult task he always lead, and this one not exempted. He is to lead the surveillance team on the task of mapping out all possible area at the boarders of Nigeria where they deemed they're possibilities of finding rich rock. The team are to dispatch early in the morning in the plane provided by the government.
So as Haidar hurried to get ready to go to the office, he was thinking of how to lead the team successfully on the task without failing. The last task they carried out at the boarder of Nigerian-Cameroon prove to be successful, though they've had been times when their mission failed completely. The last mission they were able to locate rich rock and many mineral resources that will enrich the country's economy, such as silver, alluminiun and gold, with a huge rich rock that can give the country a huge amount of oil.
Haidar quickly got into his Prado and drove to the office. When in the office, he took out some papers and plodded on, not sparing time for casual greetings and meeting with his team.. He wants to sort out the map given to them first, then inspect their compass, zoom lens and other equipment before finally meeting with his team.
And all that he did within the slightest moment. He then had the meeting with his team, comprising of five of them and the pilot. The meeting went successfully and the team
members were dispersed to go and start getting ready.Haidar decided to go his fiancée, Haleemah and say his farewell.
Haleemah reclined on the car, eyes moisten and face decked with sorrow. "So when will you come back?" She asked, her face as wearied as if she'd lost him already. It is always like that with her whenever he's going on a difficult task.
"Leemo relax, there's nothing to fret about. I'm just going for a couple of days and before you know it, I will be back to you." He smiled and bent a little closer to her face to observe her.
Leemo thawed a little and let a smile traced the curve of her mouth. "I'm just not okay with you leaving, is just three months to our wedding. What if something....." She momentarily paused as she realized what she was about to say is ominous, then steered on. "I mean anything can happen who knows."
Haidar sighed and smiled. "Insha Allah nothing will happen." He assured her.
"Insha Allah." She uttered too.
And as he entered his car, she stood motionless staring at the car until the car disappeared on the road.

They all boarded on the plane with all their equipment, and the next moment the plane took off.
Haidar yawned and slumped on his seat warily putting on his seat belt as the airplane was about to take off. He hardly had a wink last night as he kept tabs on all the necessary procedure he deem might be efficacious in their quest. It wasn't easy though, but he'd managed to come up with something crucial the make their work less arduous, and to spend less days in their search.
Firstly, they have to use their surveillance equipment and magnetic lens to confirm if a particular area is safe to start carrying out their scheme. A region will be under their survey for a full day before possibly landing and prospecting further to determine if there's anything worth their search.
