The wind howled in the midst of the brewing storm that approached outside, and where else would the Doctor be but in a small house in which he had inhabited years before as an escape for his own time.

As such, the Doctor sat in a small arm chair, reclined and reading a book that he'd found in the TARDIS library. The TARDIS, in fact, was parked in one of the rooms so it was not damaged by the onslaught of rain that pounded on the whole building or by the lightning that produced a ground rumbling thunder.

Turning the page, the Doctor adjusted the small, square framed glasses on his face, continuing to read through the somewhat interesting topic.

In another room, sat the shorter, blonde Timelord, The Master.
He was cowered in the corner of the bed, shaking with a slight whimper and the blankets pulled over him. A flash of light made its way through the gaps in blanket and not a second later was a loud clashing roar, causing a yelp to come from the younger.

The Master attempted to keep quiet about this though, not wanting the Timelord in the other room to hear his fearful noises. He was under the impression of how stupid it was to be frightened of the thunder. The lighting, though, wasn't apart of his fear due to the powers he had somehow inhibited.

Another flash and a louder boom sounded as the storm rolled over the house and the blonde man almost yelled, biting down on his blanket to prevent it. He covered his ears quickly, tears pricking his eyes, trying to think of something as a distraction.

More of the loud explosive claps sounded within the next five minutes. And also within that time, the Master had started crying lightly, still trying to push himself into the corner as an escape. He couldn't move voluntarily as his trembling got worse.
The sky suddenly crackled like firewood, and that's when Master had finally thought about calling the Doctor.

He stammered over his words first as he tried to call out, getting cut off by a clash. "Th-thete!" He cried out as loud as he could in the moment, a sob accompanying it.

The Doctor having not heard the cry, flipped another page in his book. He had stopped reading for a second to stare out the window, listening to the almost glass shattering force of the rain till the younger Timelords cry came again, but much louder.

"Th-th-THETE!!"

The brunette spun his head around immediately, throwing his glasses off and tossing his book where he was sitting after he'd got up. He ran out of the front room and towards the sound of yell.
Throwing open the door, the older Timelord rushed to the bed and climbed on it. He pulled the blanket covered Master into his arms and cradled him.

The Master ripped off the blanket and grabbed onto the Doctor's brown, striped suit with a deathly grip, burying his face into his chest. Small sobs escaped the blonde Timelord's lips as brunette kept him close, whispering comforting words as he situated himself on the Doctor's lap.

"It's alright Koschei...I've got you, it's okay."
The Doctor spoke softly, rubbing his back as another clash of thunder frightened the latter more. He adjusted them to sit more comfortably as the Master whined lightly.

They sat there till the storm finally blew over enough that the thunder wasn't as loud as it was previously. The Master was quite, breathing slowly leading the Doctor to believe he may have fallen asleep. And with that though, he shuffled to try and move the younger Timelord into a more comfortable position until he heard another whine escape the blondes mouth.

"Don't leave me, Thete..."
He spoke quietly, gripping onto the suit jacket some more. The brunette leaned down and pressed his lips against the top of the other head, laying him down before sitting beside him.

The Master didn't seem content with this and eventually pulled the taller male down to lay with him.
"You can't leave me now..."
He muttered, cuddling up to him as the Doctor smiled lightly, wrapping an arm around him.

"I won't."
He started, closing his eyes as he softly got a bit more comfortable.
"I'll always be right here beside you, Koschei."
He trailed off as he heard a soft yawn escape the Masters mouth. Soon the Master was asleep, softly snoring as the Doctor turned his head to watch him.

"I won't ever leave you."

With that, he shut his eyes and drifted into slumber.
