More than friends?

You and Courtney have been friends for 5 years now, you had a crush on her for those 5 years of you being best friends but you're not sure how she feels about you. You've also known Ariana in those past 5 years when Courtney introduced you to each other, in which you fell for her as well but you knew it would never happen with you and Ariana because she was straight. Or so you thought?

Y/N's POV
Ariana invited me to a get together with all her friends at her house. I was getting really nervous because I knew Courtney would be there, and Ariana obviously. It's been weeks since I hung out with them together they're so much fun to be around they're both my best friends and I'm so in love with them and neither of them know it, except for one person...Alexa. I started to get ready for this after noon, I brushed my teeth and jumped in the shower. Once I stepped out of the shower my phone went off, I looked at who it was.

*Text Messages*
Alexa- Hey you coming to Ariana's later?

Me- of course I am, are you?

Alexa- well duh someone's gotta be there in case you pass out

Me- Why would I pass out?

Alexa- Don't you know it's a pool party?

Fuck I didn't even know I guess Ariana forgot to let me know to bring a bathing suit. They're both going to be in bikini's I'm defiantly going to faint seeing Courtney and Ariana in bikini's

*in coming call*
Me- Hello

Alexa- thank god I thought u died u didn't answer me

Me: well yeah I didn't even know Ariana didn't tell me what am I gonna do how will I breathe

Alexa- Relax that's why you have be there to calm down your crazy ass

She laughed over the phone.

Alexa- I can come pick you up and we can head over there in 20?

Me- That would be great! See you soon girl.

*End of convo*

I continued to get ready until Alexa's arrival. *BEEP BEEP* my phone went off I opened up the message it was Alexa telling me she's here. I went downstairs put my flip flops on locking the door behind me.

Ariana's POV
I'm so excited to be hanging out with all my friends again during my break from touring. I love being around the people I love every day. I haven't seen Y/N in weeks I miss her like crazy, sometimes I get this feeling in my stomach when I see her it's like that butterfly feeling you get when you really like someone. I've had a crush on Y/N for a couple of years now, she has no idea that I like her nobody really knows my feelings for her, I just don't want to get hurt again or ruin my friendship with her, so I might not ever tell her. Although some of my friends get suspicious of the way I act around her but I just deny everything. I was startled out of my thoughts when the door bell rang. I walked to answer the door. "Hey Ariana" I was greeted by Courtney. "Hey Court" I said while hugging her. "I missed you" She said "I missed you too" she replied. "So is any one here yet?" She asked me. "Just Doug, he's out back by the pool" I said. "Alright cool lets go swim" she said pulling my arm to the backyard to meet up with Doug. "Hey Courtney been a while" Doug said hugging Courtney. We all sat down on the chairs "So did you invite Y/N?" Courtney asked curiously with a smile. "Obviously she's the life of the party" I said laughing. "Good she needs to come I haven't seen her in forever" Doug added. "Me too" Courtney and I both said in unison. "Hey can you grab a drink for me Ariana?" Doug said. "Yeah sure" I said. "I'll come with you" Courtney told me. We headed into the kitchen, Courtney sat on the bar stool playing with her fingers she looked nervous. "Are you okay?" I asked her. "I just have something to tell you actually" she said still playing with her fingers. "What is it?" I ask her as I pour some drinks. "Well I- I like Y/N, I've liked her for a long time now and I haven't told anyone about it but you just now, she doesn't know either I just really want her to like me back but I'm scared to tell her" she confessed. "Oh" is all I said. "Oh what? What's wrong" she said to me. "That's funny because I like her too, I've been in love with her for 2 years now, I haven't told anyone either expect you just now, I don't want to tell her because I don't want to ruin the friendship or get hurt" I also confessed. "Oh" was all Courtney said. Just then the door bell rang. "I'll get that" I said walking away from Courtney.
