A Grande Christmas

Once Upon a Christmas Eve, two best friends reunite. Y/N is a hardworking business woman in New York, and a CEO of her own company Givenchy. One of them is a mega pop star. What they don't know is that they are going to have a Christmas miracle happen for them.  

~Flash Back to December 25th 2000~

It snowy Christmas Day, 7 year old Ariana and 7 year old Y/N was going Christmas shopping with their families together to see Santa. "Let's go" Ariana says to y/n while running to the car. "Just a minute" y/n says. Y/N walked over to the fire place to sit by the chimney, "Santa Tell Me if you're there, if so.. I want me and Ariana to be best friends for life" She whispered to Santa. "What's taking you so long?" Ariana said walking in. "It's a secret" y/n answered. "Not you talking to Santa again" she said. "And you talk to ghosts on halloween" y/n said running out the door pushing Ariana to the side slightly. While in the car they listened to "It's the most wonderful time of the year" singing along to it. They arrived at the mall, y/n started to excitedly scream when she saw Santa she ran up to him screaming "SANTA, SANTA." He said "HO HO HO, what would you like for Christmas?" He asked as she sat in his lap. "I already got what I want because I got my best friend Ariana, but I want her to be a singer" she said whispering in his ear. "That's very nice of you" He said. "Can you bring Halloween back?" Ariana said. "HO HO HO, Okay child" he said patting her head. "This is why I don't like you" She said walking away. Their parents brought them to the Disney store, y/n and Ariana tried on Mickey Mouse ears, Christmas Disney dresses, and picked out stuffed animals for each other.

~Fast Forward December 24th 2013~

Ariana's POV 

Another Christmas Eve with y/n, we were all at the dinner table gathered around with our families. y/n sat beside me, she had the most beautiful Christmas dress on. I starred at her in amazement I didn't know I was starring for so long until she started to look at me weirdly. "Why are you looking at me?" y/n looked at me raising her eyebrow in confusion. "Just admiring the scenery" I said looking away while taking a bite of my food. "Scenery of what? we are at a dinner table" she said looking around. "Shut up you loser" I said. 

After dinner Ariana and I went outside to enjoy the snow and Christmas lights. As we stepped outside y/n slipped, before she could hit the ground I caught her in my arms "Woah you almost fell that was a close one" I said giggling a bit. "You're literally my guardian angel" she said smiling. "I'm so glad to be your protector then" I said smiling back at her. A little snowflake fell on y/n's face, I wiped the snow off her face. A light caught our attention y/n and I both looked up and it was a mistletoe, we both looked down at each other again and our eyes both sparkled I moved closer to her lips I moved the strings of hair out of her face "W-w-what are you do-" she says but I cut her off with my lips crashing into hers. If this what y/n feels like about Christmas every year then I'm loving it.  

My phone interrupted our kiss I walked off to take the call leaving y/n there. "Hello?" I said. "Hi this is Scooter Braun from SB projects" He spoke. "Hi, how are you?" I said. "Good, I got some great news for you that I think you will like" He said. "What is it?" I asked. "My team and I decided to take you on as an artist on Scooter Braun Project's" He said. "Oh my God I cant never not thank you enough" I squealed. "There's also one more thing we are going to need you to fly out to Los Angeles, I hope you don't mind but we are going to need you to live here too" Scooter said. "That is not a problem" I said. "Okay great I can't wait to see you here, Have a nice Christmas Ariana" He said. "Thank you, you too" I said as I hung up the phone. I skipped happily over to y/n "What's got you so excited?" she asked. "You will never believe who just called me" I said excitedly. "Beyonce?" she said laughing. "NO you idiot, Scooter Braun the manager I sent the singing video to called me back" I screamed the last part. "Oh My God that's great what did he say?" y/n asked. "HE SAID IM SIGNED OFFICIALLY, and I have to move to LA because of it" I said happily. y/n's face drops "That's great" She said trying to sound happy but I know she wasn't fully happy. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Nothing, I'm really happy for you" She said. "I know when you're upset tell me" I said. "It's just that you are moving away so far" she said sadly. "I know but once I get settled there it's not like you can't come visit me" I said trying to cheer her up. "I'm just gonna miss having you here" she said teary eyed. "I'll make sure that we face time every night, and I'm gonna miss you way more though" I said wiping her eyes. "Okay promise?" she said. "I promise" I replied. 

~5 Months Later~

Y/N's POV 

Having Ariana far away from me is so much harder now, phone calls are being declined more and more as the days go on. I just feel like her and I are separating, she's becoming this big pop star now. I'm in school now studying business, this is my last year of school my graduation is coming up pretty soon. I grabbed my phone out to Facetime Ariana, surprisingly she answered. She was siting on her couch she looked like an angel, "Oh my God it's been so long bitch" I said. "Yeah the road life has just been so crazy" she said. "I miss you when can I see you?" I asked. "I told you when I'm not busy" She said. "Yeah but you said that the last time" I replied. "Get off my balls y/n" She said getting irritated. "I'm not trying to make you mad, I'm sorry for being a concerned best friend" I said. "I know I'm sorry cutie, I'm just stress this celebrity life style is not what you would think" she said tiredly. "It's okay I understand, will you have time to come to my graduation you think?" I asked her hoping she'd say yes. Ariana sighed, "I'll see what I can do babe" she said. "You know it's also your graduation too, I don't want to walk alone without you" I said. "Hold on a second I'm getting another call on my other phone" Ariana said putting me on mute. I saw her answer the phone, her face filled with excitement her cheeks got so red I never seen them that bright red before. Shortly she ended her call and took me off mute. "Oh my God Madonna wants to be in my music video" She screamed. "OH MY GOD that's literally your idol" I screamed for her. "I'm literally peeing my pants" she said. I laughed at what she said. "And she wants me to meet with her soon" She said. "That is great" I said happy for her. "But yes I will be at our graduation" she said. "You're the best, can't wait to see you" I said. "Can't wait to hug you" Ariana said. "Well I gotta go I'll see you soon then" she said. "Bye love you" I said. "Love you too" she said. 

~Graduation~

I excitedly got out of bed, Today is Ariana's and I graduation I been waiting on this for months after that phone call with Ariana I hope that we get to kiss like we did on that Christmas night under the mistletoe. I sat down to do my makeup, I'm wearing Ariana's favourite colour for my eye shadow lavender I hope she likes it. I grabbed my phone to text Ariana "It's graduation day bitch!!" I put my phone back down and continued to get ready. 

....

My name got called onto the stage, I walked out trying to search for Ariana in the crowd but I couldn't see her anywhere.. She lied to me.. she told me she could make it, I tried to hold in my tears while grabbing my diploma and walking off stage.
