Yo.
This was an idea that was niggling at the back of my mind for a while, so I decided to write it. I've planned the beginning, which is hella long, and when I finish that I'll do the middle, then the end. Planning takes a while, and with a plotline as big as Naruto's? Its better to do it in pieces because it's more like a bunch of normal-length stories strung together in one massive one, so the middle and the end will depend on how I develop the MC in the beginning.
This is an OC/SI, and a semi-AU, I don't have the skills or knowledge of Naruto to mess up the plot and redesign it to my will with confidence. In another main story that is pure SI, that is what I'm trying to do, and its harder than it looks. Butterfly effect takes a lot of work.

The Uchiha were known for their dōjutsu, one of the Three Great Dōjutsu, the Sharingan, the 'eyes that reflect the soul', as those outside the clan state.
The cost of activating a power usually comes from highly stressful situations, in some cases, only when someone close to them dies. Though, it is quite rare for a situation to be stressful enough to activate the Sharigan, to the point of the event having to be traumatizing.
So when Uchiha Ichika's just-born son opened his eyes and revealed eyes holding three tomoe in total they were worried.
Very worried.
Then, the drain on his chakra began.
Uchiha nurses rushed about, draping a cloth over the 3-minute-old baby's eyes as he began to fall into critical chakra exhaustion, on the brink of death.
Realistically, he should've died.
He didn't.
After the child's recovery, Uchiha Ichika and her husband, Uchiha Sora, the brother of Uchiha Mikoto, were handed a healthy baby boy, which then named, Uchiha Touma.
After being kept under watch for the first few months of his life, Touma was declared clear of any issues that could've come with activating the Sharigan at such a young age.
The next week after that declaration, the Kyuubi attacked.
Uchiha Sora died fighting the tailed beast and Ichika was left alone with their son.
They mourned, and went back to life with the clan, suspicion from the village heavy in the air. Drawn faces of the clan members put under stress from the scrutinization of their home. The children were left blissfully unaware, except for Touma.
In the second year of the child's life, he suddenly became sharply aware, acting unnaturally for a child his age. He never cried, never played with the other children, and began asking his single mother to teach him how to read, write, how to speak more of their language.
He was declared a prodigy at the age of three, just a few years younger than Uchiha Itachi was when he was declared one, and a week after his baby sister was born.
The second Uchiha prodigy with only a five-year difference between the first one. He would become perfect, like his cousin, they all said.
