Here's something you should know about me.
Never ever, EVER, in your LIFE, tell me to "calm down".
If you tell me to calm down, relax, or anything similar, I will blow up on you.
Two reasons for this.
The first simply being, I have anger management issues, so I can't help but blow up when I feel angry.
The second and more important reason which you should probably note, is that people telling me to calm down makes me feel like I've done something wrong or that there's something wrong with me.
If I'm crying lots and having a breakdown, telling me to calm down will make me feel like there's something wrong with me for crying like a little baby. Instead, hug me, comfort me, kiss me (if you're allowed) because those things will actually help me.
