When I finally get home, I can't help but feel so alone. I mean, I got my brother but it's still so a lonely.
"Veee, you home yet? I need some paperwork signed,"
"Yeah I just got home" this my little brother Jock and he's a little darker them. We have the same style, but I feel like he cares more about his looks. Also, he's 3 years younger then I am and dare I smarter than I.
"Can you fill this stuff out for me?"
"Yeah put it on the table. I'll do it just give me a second, Ight?"
I heard my phone buzz signaling that I got a text message and it's from Tori.
"So when you wanna hang out?"
I left it on read and continued to finish what I have left of this paperwork to the best of my knowledge. The faster I do so the faster I can text her back. As I was completing the last two pages I heard my phone ring again. Not wanting to get distracted I put it on silence. These paper for Jock are more important at the moment. As soon as I finished I looked at my locked screen and saw that the message was from Tori. I slide my phone back on the table and got up and made my way towards my brothers' room.

"Aye Jock, who are the papers going to? The principal or coach Reggie?"

"I gotta turn them into coach tomorrow morning. They tryna put me on the Varsity team my first year and all, so yeah."

"Oh ight, cool. Make sure you get your homework done jhit. I know how those ninth-grade teachers are."

"Ight, I got you bro. Thanks again!" I heard him yell as I walked back to the dining room table. I grabbed my phone and plopped on the couch. Unlocked my phone and went to my text messages.

"If you're busy rn I can definitely hit you up later. Just lmk"

"Nah you good, we can talk now. I was just finishing something, but we can hang out tmr anywhere . Just lmk when and where" I saw that she read it immediately and then the three dots inside the bubble popped up. My phone vibrated to let me know she replied but my messages were already open under her name.
"We could hang out after school at the mall tmr if that's cool with you?"
"Yeah that's fine." I saw that my next text was from Sierra. She hasn't hit me up all summer and really curious as to what she has to say. When I opened the message I saw it was pretty long so I already had an idea of what was about to go down.
"Yo, what the fuck was up with all the flirting nigga? You looked thirsty, but not as much as Tommy's hoe ass cousin. I thought me and you were on a break? I mean I know what happened to was sad and all, and I wanna be here for you and all, but you can't just be out here trying to replace me with no new bitch. Especially with her bougie ass!"
I didn't even want to text her ass back. Mostly because of the fact that she thought we were on a break, even though she didn't give me a valid reason as to why we broke up in the first place. Then she has the audacity to say she wants to be there for me even AFTER the things happened she was still nowhere to be found. And on top of that, she out here judging Tori. Not even knowing where shawty came from and what she's been through. Not to sound mean or anything but I genuinely don't have time for the shit.
"I'm going through some things right now. And I really don't wanna play these games with you no more. This is the end of us, but we can still be friends. That's only if you can respect my space and mind yours." After I saw that she read it, the bubble popped up, but then disappeared. I made it clear that we're only going to be friends, but it's whatever. She's gonna take it how she takes it. As the night came to an end I took out some microwaveable dinners for me and my brother to eat. We ate and fell right asleep after.
