Aah, Beauty and the Beast. My favourite Disney live action movie. This song was produced by Alan Menken(yes, the same one who wrote 'when will my life begin') and also written by Alan Menken with Tim Rice.

Even though the song was originally recorded for and sung by Dan Stevens in the film, it was first released 3rd March, 2017 sung by the American singer Josh Groban. The version by Dan Stevens was later released on the 10th of March that same year.

The reason why I like this movie is because in the animated movie of Beauty and the Beast, the Beast hardly sings in the movie. This is because the lyricist for the original movie was not able to determine the right time for the Beast to sing, but was later found out during the making of the live action remake.

The lyrics of the song has the themes of true love, heartbreak, sacrifice and loneliness. In the movie, the song is performed shortly after the Beast releases Belle from his....can I say custody, to go to the village and help her father. The Beast, knowing that it will jeopardize his chances of turning back into a human...again, learns how to sacrifice since he realised that he loves her.
