The Lost Vampire Princess

Chapter 1

Recap:

300 Years Ago in Ireland

"All you have to do is wa-" My father was cut off by the sound of windows breaking. He looked back at me and said quickly "Go and hide. You will find your answers In time but you wont see me again. You may not remember me or anyone but just give it time. I'm sorry but I have to leave you." He started jogging away. "Remember what I told you." His voice echoed through the study.

I ran while trying not to step on my dress. I ran away from my father who was down in the foyer fighting whoever got inside the castle. I ran until I got to my chambers. I hid in my room but when I sat down black dots were clouding my vision. Before I knew it I was falling into a black abyss.

Chapter 1

Present Time in America

"Jessica we need to talk." Was what I heard when i got home from school.

"I swear all i did was ride around. I didn't hang with the druggies at the skate park. What ever you heard don't believe it." I said as i walked into the living room where my parents were sitting. For some reason they looked sad.

"It has nothing to do with the crappy skate park you go to. We need to tell you something that we couldn't talk about until the time came." Came my fathers reply.

"Okay you guys are really freaking me out here."

Before i go any farther let me introduce myself. My name is Violet Anderson. My parents are Jessica and Jason Anderson, and we live in Detroit Michigan. I'm in my second year of college studying photography. I just moved into my own apartment but i need to stop at my parents house to get some things i left. I'm 20 but i took a year gap between high school and college and my birthday is tomorrow. I like skateboarding and reading when i dont have anything going on which by the way is very rare for me. I am single and i have two best friends who are Angela and Brittney, but they don't go to the same college as me. Anyway back to the present.

"We know that becoming 21 is an exciting thing and we don't want to ruin it for you but we hav-"

I cut him off knowing what was coming. "Dad i know i should have a sober driver when i go to drink, and i know that i shouldn't have a lot to drink other wise 'Ill get bad karma from the alcohol'. Blah blah blah i know the what to expect. Ill be fine. You don't have to remind me."

My mother shook her head before sighing.

"Honey it's not that. You might want to take a seat." I sat down from curiosity about what she has to say. Jessica opened her mouth to answer her daughter but was interrupted by the doorbell. I got up to go answer the door and was granted the sight of the most gorgeous man  i have ever seen in my life. He had black hair and piercing blue eyes.

He smiled at me with an unknown emotion i couldnt place. "Hi. I'm Xavier."

"I'm Violet Anderson." I answered without thinking.

"I've been looking for you everywhere Violet. I've missed you so." He said before pulling me into his embrace and crashing his lips to mine.
