"I told you, I swear to god she looked like Julia," the guy said to an older man. "his name is Julian," "who cares she saw through my glamour," the guy said to the man pointing at a door in the room. "she is special, and a stranger to this world and for us, we need to find her," the guy said now a little calmer as he was still looking at the man is back. "you are right about two things, she is special and she is new to this world, but she is no stranger to me, Gabriel," the man said turning around finally facing him. "what are you talking about," Gabriel asked confused. "she is my daughter," the man said looking up from his glass.

Alexa walked back into the cafe still stunned of what just happened. "hey, Alec seen a ghost," Stella asked laughing throwing Alexa her apron. "sort of," Alexa said catching the apron and tying it around her waist. "well, I am done for today, see you tomorrow," Stella said with a smile taking of her own apron. "actually, I am leaving town tomorrow," Alexa said putting her hair on a ponytail with a black hair elastic. "has your mom finally sobered up," Stella asked. Stella and Jade were the only ones who knew about her mom's drinking problem.

"no, I am leaving town, alone, I can't live in that house anymore," Stella walked over to her giving Alexa a hug. "just don't think, leaving town, is gonna fix anything," Stella said walking to the door of the cafe waving at Alexa. "no, but hopefully it will give me a fresh start," Alexa said when she pulled away from the hug. "you can't leave your past behind, it's a part of you if you want it or not, but don't ruin this start not everyone gets a second chance," Stella said walking to the door. "don't worry, I wasn't planning on," Alexa said with a small smile on her face looking at Stella. "I'm gonna miss you," "I'm gonna miss you too," Alexa said before Stella walked out of the cafe.

"she is leaving tomorrow," a guy said with raven black hair with messy curls. His pupils were almost invisible because of his deep dark brown eyes, he was taller than Gabriel as he walks into a room where Gabriel was sitting on a bed reading. "what do you mean she is leaving," Gabriel said throwing the book on the end of his bed and got up walking over to the guy. "I mean she is leaving town, tomorrow," "damn it, I need to tell Isaac," Gabriel said walking past the guy. "no we need to find out where she is going, we don't even know what she is, do you really want to put all these people in danger," the guy said pointing at an open space with most people around the age starting from 18 walking around. "what is so special about her," the guy asked letting go if Gabriel his arm. "she could see through my glamour Micheal, she is one of us," Gabriel said looking at the people walking around and then back at Michael. Gabriel normally was the one to follow the rules, protect their kind and stay low but there was something about Alexa that he couldn't explain. "just trust me on this one brother," Gabriel said patting Micheal on his shoulder before walking over to Isaac his office.

"Sir, I am sorry to bother, but it's about the girl Alexa," Gabriel said as he opened the door of Isaac his office after he knocked. "come in," Isaac said not looking up from his paperwork. "what is wrong with Alexa," Isaac asked when Gabriel was standing in front of his desk. "she is leaving town, tomorrow," Gabriel explained standing with his hands behind his back. "damn it," Isaac said angrily slamming his hand on his desk. "find her, bring her here, we can't let her leave she is too powerful," Isaac said standing up from his chair. "if she escapes..." Isaac started pointing at Gabriel. "Don't worry I will bring her here," Gabriel said before walking out.

"I'm gonna go," Alexa said to a coworker before taking off her apron and let her hair fall down over her shoulders again. "sure see you tomorrow," a guy asked. "no this was my last day," Alexa said before grabbing her stuff and walking out of the cafe but not before saying goodbye to everyone.

Alexa walked through Westcrest as it was rain she tilted her head back and closed her eyes enjoying the rain not noticing that 3 guys approached her, before the guys could do anything Gabriel stepped in grabbing Alexa by her right arm walking on her left side. "don't say anything, don't look behind you and just walk," Gabriel said quick walking with her as the three guys backed up. "what was that about," Alexa said pushing Gabriel on his chest when he let go of her arm. "okay, I can see the family resembles," Gabriel said with a smirk on his face. "okay stop joking and start explaining who you are," Alexa said crossing her arm. "look, I will explain everything later but we need to go those men weren't here to cuddle with you..." "then what did they wanted to do," "do you want the real answer," "yes, I want the real answer," Alexa said annoyed. "they were trying to kill you," Gabriel said cold, like it was normal. "okay, you're insane," Alexa said with a confused and scared face pointing at his chest before walking away. Alexa walked around the corner walking away from Gabriel when a guy came walking over to her.

"Alexa, look out," Gabriel screamed, Alexa looked behind her seeing a guy with a sword in his hand ready to hit her. "Get down," Gabriel yelled grabbing a dagger stabbing the guy who fell on the ground with blood coming out of his chest. Alexa let out a scream as Gabriell grabbed her arm but she gave him a knee in the nuts and ran away.

"Alexa, wait," Gabriel said while he was running after Alexa. "get away from me," Alexa said pushing him away. "Alexa he wanted to kill you, I need to keep you save," Gabriel said holding her arm. " how am I supposed to trust you, you just killed someone," Alexa said sticking her arm in the direction where it happened. "look, you have to trust me, I need to take you to someone," "who," Alexa asked taking a step back. "I will explain everything later Alexa but now I just need to keep you safe," "wait how do you know my name," Alexa asked confused. "I know more then you think and I know nothing makes sense right now but it will just come with me," "do I have a choice," Alexa asked still scared. "actually no, but I will explain everything just come with me," Gabriel said holding his hand out.
