The secluded sandy white beach stretched out into the distance, forming a gentle arc around the coastline. Above, the shrill cries of gulls were heard as they flew under the golden bursts of light, colliding against the rippling blanket of cerulean that glistens beneath the pale blue sky.

Small waves lapping the shores with a soothing sound, the cool water attempting to reach but failing to land a single touch on the boy's small feet when it was pulled back, gradually uncoiling itself back to the sea, leaving its foamy trails onto the sand.

The gentle breeze brushes the boy's raven bangs, chin perched on his left arm that hugs both of his legs while the other tries to scribble letters on the sand with a stray twig. Eyes glued on the squiggly lines as he drew a huge heart around it.

"JJK + KTH." The boy jumped from the voice's intrusion, turning around seeing a girl having a fit of giggles. Her head slightly tilted down to the side with a teasing smirk. The boy's thin lips curved down from the sight of her.

"So this is what you do when we're not around." She wiggled her eyebrows causing the younger boy's frown deepen. The boy squinted his eyes as he crossed his arms against his chest. He hated how she always barges in on his privacy and teases him after with no end.

"And your point is?" His dark eyes glare into her chocolate brown ones that glinted mischievously. She internally cooed seeing the younger's attempt to scare her away but he looked more like a pouting bunny whose carrot was stolen away from him.

"That you're so whipped for my brother." She countered, sticking her tongue out while trying to hold off her laughter at the triggered bunny with red puffy cheeks.

His hands formed into tiny fists on his sides as he stomp his way towards her. But before he tackles her to the ground, he spotted a boy standing on a huge rock, eyes transfixed in a daze while staring at the waves crashing against the scattered pebbles and rocks below him.

The young boy wore a red pulled up hoodie that fully covers his head, aside from the golden fringes peeking out under it. Hands stuffed inside the pockets of his sweatshirt and his lower half clothed with light faded jeans and a pair of white sneakers.

The raven-haired boy stared at the red-hooded figure. The unreadable expression that adorned his beautiful features was somewhat solemn yet he couldn't help but be mesmerized at the scene. Even with cheap clothing, the boy still manages to appear like a living art.

Then a burst of laughter came howling next to him, breaking his trance from the lovely being that stood a few meters away from them.

This also caught the other boy's attention, he was instantly pulled back from his contemplation in order to see the source of the noise, only to be met with two familiar faces with expressions that contrasts each other.
The younger boy gritted his teeth as his eyes bore into the laughing girl with hatred. Why does she always have to ruin his moments?

"Jungkookie?" The boy called out, making his way towards them, his feet sinking into the damp sand, creating fresh footprints.

"H-hyung! You're finally here." Jungkook fumbled, his voice faltering a bit seeing the elder's beauty up close. His smooth honey skin seems to glow a gentle hue under the summer sky, bringing out the gray in his eyes.
