So little time

1 1 4

So I look upon your face

And then unto mine

Both lined by the wrinkles

Of life's pastime

My hande are weary

But I want to hold your's tight

My eyes are swollen

But I want to gaze into thine

Our time was spent too fast

With the husband's card

Like a wife on a spree

So I look on your face

And then look at my hands

And see your touches

Still red in my skin

Still feel your kisses

Warm on my cheek

Still have the wet

Of you tear

Still have the caress

Of you dress

Still have the memory of our bliss

And still have you heart 'stead of mine

So I look upon your face

And then gaze unto the ground

The soil still fresh

Like the day of blue

Sky, ocean and your eyes.

Like the day green

Forest, trees and your pendent

Like the red

Blossoms, and your lips.

So I look upon you face

And then unto a mirror

Oh! So aged an oak

The bark now split

And the trunk sloth

The face a mask

Below the scribbles

Of a happy child

Like us a millennia ago

Too young to care

Too young to save

Those tiny moments

Of you broad smile

Your little whispers

And your life.

I look into your face

Now surrounded in white

Lying in your bed

Of the infinite night

And see your eyes now shut

Once gleaming glittery

And see those limbs

Now stationary once

Oh!! Once once once

I hate this

I hate this

I hate you.

To leave me here

Without your shoulder to cry

Without your jokes to laugh

Without you.

"Love is a beautiful thing"

They say

For they haven't seen

They haven't cried

They haven't guilted

On the soul of their heart.

I cry for you my love

I cry for the flames to take you.

I cry and cry and cry

Hoping you would wake

And wipe them off my face
