Ah, what should I do.. I'm not in the mood to interact with people. I'm not in the mood for anything at all.
I look at my SPJ classmates planning on what to do for the Acquaintance Festival. They called Sooyoung and I when we were eating at the fields and told us to come with them to the classroom. Everyone needed to be there, they say. I have nothing to offer, but my presence is enough I suppose.
"We can dance, you know." Lisa, one of the best dancers in our program suggests, her head going up and down, completely confident of her response.
"Not everyone can dance Lisa, maybe we should just do a talk show?" Sana says, looking at everyone to see if they agree with the idea. All were anxious to speak out their minds, ironic since as journalists we should be saying our opinions loud and clear.
"Boo. Sounds boring." Nayeon waves off Sana's idea. "Why are we even talking about this? I thought the seniors in the 3rd year already planned something for us."
It was usually the 3rd years who always came up with the idea every year, and I've never heard of the 2nd years planning for it since forever. Since the youngest SPJ's are only required to participate as helpers, we, the seniors, plan out the rest.
Jeongyeon stands up. "No idea. Who called for this meeting again?"
"Yah, if you're all wasting our time here, now isn't the best time for-"
Nayeon's reply was cut off when a loud boom resonated. The door to our room suddenly bursts open, it was so loud everyone turned their heads to see who made a ruckus of opening it.
"I did. Anyone got a problem?" Jisoo, one of the seniors in the SPJ program said as she stepped inside along with Jennie and Rose. The three of them were carrying big white bags, multiples of them, but I wasn't sure what was inside them. Moreover, Jennie and Rose didn't look.. okay. They look worried.
The room became quiet as they made their sudden appearance. They went at the front, placing all the bags at the table and some at the floor. Jisoo reached for something in the bag, and a costume came out. An unusual one.. to be exact.
She raises it up excitingly. "That's right! We're going to dance!" Jisoo's hand points at us and she reveals an erotic bunny costume with each having its own colors, some of it white, pink, orange... and even brown. The room fell silent as we all looked at her with surprise, or not even surprised anymore.
"Jisoo-unnie.. she.." Rose finds the right words to speak while facepalming, but she couldn't continue the sentence. She looked more disappointed than ever.
"Yah, I told you Rose, that you should never let Jisoo pick clothes,"
"I couldn't stop her unnie, I tried,"
We could hear every whisper Jennie and Rose made and the rest of us looked at each other with surprise. Jisoo was always the type to never know what the right thing to pick was, we were even surprised she bothered picking out clothes for the festival. Jennie and Rose mouths us an I'm sorry to each and every one of the people in the room.
"What's wrong? Why is no one reacting?" Jisoo says as she continuously takes out the clothes one by one. "Ah I know, you're all surprised. Don't worry, all of you are going to wear it just fine!"
"Yah, are you joking with us?" Nayeon stands up in front of Jisoo, not hiding her anger.
Oh no, here we go again.
Jeongyeon nervously laughs and steps up to reach for Nayeon's shoulder, looking at Jisoo with a pleasing look. "Ahahaha- she means if you're joking that you really got everyone one! We believe you Jisoo-unnie," Nayeon looks at her and Jeongyeon gives her a look of don't say anything back, positive to stop another fight forming in the classroom. The SPJ was really full of weird people, and I count myself in it. Though, I know exactly how Nayeon would react to this.
