You feel like no one sees your scars
And despite that you still have a strong heart, even though you take hits and have bruises, people hurt you and there is no excuses, you scream but you feel like no one hears, you cry but you feel like no one sees your tears, I hear and see them, I will always be here for any reason, the love I have for you is unconditional, you just want to feel like someone listens to you, I'm listening and I'll always be here to listen, and that goes under almost any condition, I am here to pick you up when you fall down, I'm never leaving so I'll always be around, as long as I can, I'll be there as long as I have the chance, I can't believe you're growing up fast, and whatever you do in life I'll be proud, I haven't stopped believing in you yet and I'm not going to now, if there's anything I'm afraid of it's to fail you, but I think you knew that so it's not something I need to tell you, I can only do so much though as I wish I could protect you more from harm, I hope you have other people who do and help you stay strong through every storm, but just know the father you know doesn't have perfection, but one thing I know I can do is try to give advice for your protection, though it might be simple and not always great, but I can give it even if it is from a distance away, like the time I told you to be careful crossing the street, cause I just feel it's something I can teach, is for you to be careful so you can stand on your own two feet, to me you'll always be a princess, and whatever you do in life just know you're gifted, keep ya head up and stay strong, I'll give you strength to get up when you fall, there isn't much left I know how to say, but even days I'm not there I still am every day, I hope you take my words as more than just words, but truth, no matter what happens I'll always be here and will always love you
