Chapter 8

(Jungkook's POV)
As we all started climbing back down the rooftops, a question suddenly came up my head. "Wait. How are we going to go somewhere to hang out with if there are posters everywhere about us. We're wanted people, not normal people." I explained.

"Black mask, black hat, done!" Jennie quickly stated. I looked at her and sighed. We finally got down onto the ground. "Jennie. Wearing to much black can make people look at us suspiciously. And you've got that sword."

"Ugh. I forgot about this sword." Jennie said. She held it in her hands and smiled. "I know what we can do. WE CAN PLAY THE ULTIMATE HIDE AND SEEK GAME!" Jennie squealed again. "I'm not counting!" She stated.

"Jin can you count?" She asked, hanging her sword down by the belt that's around her waist. Jin nodded and smiled. "I'll count to one hundred." Jin added.

Me and Jennie agreed to what he said by nodding. Then, he started counting. "I know where we can hide!" She held my wrist and started dragging me towards the corner of the city. "Woah! Not to fast!" I told her.

She rolled her eyes and started laughing. We were finally at her hiding spot and both of us were out of breath. "Jennie... We didn't need to... RUN..." I stated.

"Sorry..." She apologised, still trying to catch her breath.

Then, I got a text from Jin, it said: "I'm done counting. I'm looking for both of ya! 😏😏"

I chuckled at what the message said and looked at Jennie. She was completely sweaty. "We can just wait here..." She said, leaning back against the cold wall.

"Yeah. Sure." I agreed. I sat beside her and sighed. "How come you and Jin got separated?" I asked, looking down. There seemed to be a long pause before answering. She took a deep sigh and looked up. "It's complicated."

"It's fine if you don't tell me, I mean-" She interrupted me with her own speech. "I don't really want to tell you anything. If you wanna know what happened then you have to ask Hyung."

I slightly nodded at what she said and took my phone out. I checked the time. It was already 2:54pm. We've been hiding here for four minutes now. He texted me at exactly 2:50pm. I was wondering if something bad happened to him. However, that feeling changed because I just got a text from him.

Jin: I'm gonna go back to the safehouse, meet you there. I give up. Tell Jennie that I have to go somewhere.

I decided to reply back because this was the only chance Jennie had to spend time with her blood-related brother.

Me: Nah. You gotta find us. This is her only opportunity to have some time with you and all of a sudden you leave just because you give up. Come on. Just a few minutes more and if you really give up text me and we'll meet you at the rooftops.

I put my phone back inside my pocket and look back at Jennie. She seemed like a nice girl, well at least for a while. But when it comes to her family, she really gets serious about it. It seems as if she really cares about her family.

"Did you get any message from Jin?" She asked, turning her head towards me. I nodded at what she said. "What did it say?"

"Jin just said he's gonna start looking for us." I answered. She nodded at what I said and leaned her head back. "We aren't supposed to be together aren't we?"

The question Jennie just asked made my head spin and worry, alot. I just realised that I've been out for quite a while since the mask situation. I let out a sigh and answered her question. "I mean we aren't but just for today I guess, since I wanted to hang out with you and Jin."

"Give me your number." She commanded all of a sudden.

"Why?"

"I need it. Also Jin's please."

"I can give you Jin's but not my number." When I told her that I wouldn't give her my number, she cutely pouted at me and smiled. Her face leaned towards my ear. I could already feel her breath touching my ear, making me blush sightly. "You really don't want it?" She whispered.

"Alright I'll have your number."

She gave me her number and I gave her mine and Jin's. "Thanks!" Jennie looked like she was really happy because she was full of smiles after the numbers I gave her. "FOUND YOU!" Someone yelled from the distance. It was none other than Jin. "I finally found you two."
