Kaylee's POV:

Once we landed we went home and went straight into our bedroom. I took a quick shower after Colby did and I walked in the bedroom afterwards to find Colby asleep with his head in his hand on the couch. He is so cute, he tried to stay up to wait for me to go to bed and he fell asleep sitting on the couch. I brushed the side of his face with my hand and his eyes fluttered open. "Come on baby lets go to bed" I whisper while helping him up off of the couch. He lays down on his side of the bed and I lay on mine. I lay on my back and he immediately rolls over and lay his head on my chest and hugs me. "I love you" He whispers then I hear his breathing slow as I play with his hair after a while he starts to snore really loud. I move my hand down from his hair to his back and trace circles on his back. After about 20 minutes he gets up and goes to the bathroom. He comes back and this time I lay on him. I fall asleep to the sound of his heart beating as he rubs my back. I wake up the next morning and look up to see Colby already up. I look at him and he looks exhausted. "Baby did you get any sleep?" "No" he reply's. "My insomnia is acting up again nothing I haven't dealt with before" he says laughing. We get dressed and go out to breakfast with Sam and Katrina. After we ate we went to the beach. We did normal cute couple stuff at the beach. It started to get cold so we decided to pack up and leave around 2:00 pm. We are driving home and I look over to Colby who is passed out with his head against the window. His wet faded blue hair drooping in front of his eyes and I smile because he is slightly snoring. I am suddenly startled by the instant break of silence from Sam speaking to me. "His insomnia is getting the best of him I see" I look at him and nod. He nods back and continues to drive home. We finally get home and I attempt to wake up Colby. "Colby baby we are home" No answer, He is completely pass out to the point where he is almost drooling. "Colby?" I repeat myself. "Colby?" Still no answer. I kiss him, smack him nothing. I take some ice cold water from my water bottle and put it on my hand. I sprinkle it on his face. He finally shoots up when the cold water hits him. He looks at me with tired and confused eyes. "You completely out cold baby you feeling okay?" I ask him concerned. "Yeah I just didn't get any sleep last night" He says looking at me with tired blue eyes. I hate seeing him in pain even if it is mostly mentally but when he is like this mentally or physically he isn't himself.

TIME SKIP;

It has been a few days since Colby has actually slept through the night. He keeps falling asleep sitting up editing even playing video games or watching television. I told him that he should go to the doctors so today is that day. We are sitting in the hospital hallway waiting for them to come get us. We need to find out what is going on with Colby. The doctor came in and asked Colby his symptoms. Then doctor then takes me out of the room and talks to me. "I think I know whats going on with your husband but I have one question" I nod and he continues. "Has he experienced anything traumatic in his life time" I nodded sadly looking down at the floor. He nodded and we walk back into the room and sit beside Colby. "I know what is going on with you Mr. Brock, You have severe insomnia and night terrors. There are no cures for night terrors but you could try melatonin for the insomnia. If that doesn't doesn't work will do a trial with medication for you to take at night before you go to bed." We both nod at the doctor and he leaves the room to check on another patient. Colby then puts his head in his hands and starts to cry. I sit and rub his back "Baby what is it" I ask sadly. "I just want these nightmares and lack of sleep to go away but there is no solution" He cry's out. "Hey there is a solution we will find it, we will get melatonin and try that and I will be with you every minute of every night if you have a night terror and if I'm not I will make sure someone is" I say confidently as he looks up at me. We leave the hospital and then drop Colby off then go to the store to get melatonin. I am in the store and I get a call from Kat.

Kaylee: Hey whats up.

Katrina: Hey ummm...... Colby fell asleep on the couch after you dropped him off and he is sweating and freaking out but he isn't up what do I do.

Kaylee: Get Sam he will know how to calm him down, I'm on my way home right now

Fuck. My poor baby boy he can't even sleep without having a night terror. I got home to see Sam sitting on the couch with Colby's head in his lap. Colby is completely passed out. It is only 5:00 pm, I wake up Colby and we all eat dinner and then decide to have a movie night. Colby decided to try the melatonin tonight. He took some and then joined us in the living room. After about an hour into the movie. I see Colby with his head on the back of the couch passed out with his mouth slightly open. "Holy shit that knocked him the fuck out huh" Sam says quietly nudging me. I nod and interlock Colby's hand with mine. He then moves onto my chest and passes right out again. I love that he felt safe in my touch. I kiss his forehead and scratch his head and it sends him into an even deeper sleep considering a sigh escaped his lips as his head fell into my lap. I think I this melatonin is actually working my baby can actually sleep. I soon feel myself drifting off and then feel a blanket being put on Colby and I. I then fall asleep with Colby in my lap on the couch. I wake up the next morning to see Colby still asleep. I look at my phone to realize it is already 9:30 in the morning. I nudge Colby awake and his eyes flutter open slowly and he looks up at me. "Good morning baby boy" I whisper rubbing his forehead with the palm of my hand. "Morning baby" He reply's in his tired raspy voice. "You didn't wake up at all." I say smiling. "I didn't have a night terror either" He says smirking and touch the side of my face with his hand. "I love you so much" He says before he sits up and kisses me.
