It was a peaceful day. The sun was out, Bird Pokémon are chirping, and little children having fun with their Pokepartners. Adelaide and her little brother Oswald were enjoying the sun's rays as they did their tutoring outside. Their aunt, Adele, fanning herself in the shade as she sipped on her Earl Grey tea. Nothing could go wrong today in this small town.
Or so it seemed...
It was such a lovely late afternoon, as Miss Anna, their tutor, was explaining math and literature to the young heirs. Henry, their uncle had come back with a few of his friends to enjoy the sunny day while it lasted. Their laughter and chatter could be heard from inside the mansion.
Adele, shifting her position from the chair let out a dramatic sigh," It is terribly hot out, I do say." She fanned herself and scrunched up her casually, many layered dress.
Oswald looked up from his notebook and retorted," Tis' because you wear so much you are like that, Auntie." Which only made the said woman scoff.
"Dear Ozzy, you should know that a woman should always look her finest."
To which the boy simply shrugged and went back to writing, not understand women one bit. Why would they go through so much trouble, just to feel miserable and complain to everyone about an easy-to-fix problem?
Adelaide was currently holding onto her dear Pokémon, Gothita. All the royals were gifted with a Pokémon from birth, to accompany their master through out life. She looked at her brothers Snubull who had fallen asleep leaning against his owners chair. Typical.
Adele finally succumbing to the heat of the day (despite it really not being to hot), let out a huff and stood up, her butler becoming alert and read to receive any command from the Mistress. Her Delcatty standing up and stretching, rubbing up against the woman's leg and making her was inside, already knowing what her master was doing.
"I've had enough, let us go inside and have some cold lemonade. I have a thirst that tea cannot quench." She called as she walked to the mansion.
Adelaide and her brother looked at each other before shifting their gaze to Miss Anna. She gave a nod and grabbed her books," We shouldn't keep M'lady waiting. Come, let us follow." She instructed, waiting for the children to grab their studies and followed them inside.

A few hours had gone and the sun was getting ready to set upon the horizon. Adelaide and her family were currently having their dinner. There was no talking as they ate, only the sounds of knives and forks scratching or hitting their plates, or a napkin being lifted to wipe or brush away any left over food.
Suddenly the sound of hurried footsteps were heard from the halls, causing Henry to place his utensils down, just as the door to the dining room burst open.
A young man, one of the servants, had rushed in, sweating profusely and panting as if he ran around the entire region," My Lord!" He shouted, pausing to catch his breath.
"What is it? Can you not see my family and I are eating? It had better be important to disturb us from our meal." The man of the house said sternly, a glare etched on his face, not liking to be interrupted during his meal.
"There has been a tragedy! We believe an outbreak of disease, it is turning everyone mad! Pokémon and humans alike!" He shouted, clearly terrified," they are raging through the land! People are dying!"
Henry, seeming unfazed, went back to eating," We will be fine, we have plenty of guards here. Nothing would be able to harm us." He spoke calmly, not taking the threat as serious as it should be.
