Gentles waves lapped at Adelaide's fingers and legs. The small splashed of salty water on her face seemed to make her come to. Letting out a small grunt, the long haired blonde cracked open her eyes, the sudden flash of the causing her to wince, closing them quickly.

Raising her hand to shield her sensitive green orbs from the sun, she opened her eyes once more. It was a blur at first but slowly her vision cleared. The girl surveyed her surroundings, realizing she was still in the ocean. But... she was on a hard surface, above the water.

Adelaide grunted as she pushed herself up into a sitting position, now seeing the grey rock she was sitting on, with strange, dull spikes coming out from it. She landed on a rock? But why was it moving? She thought as she raised her head and blinked at the long blue thing.

Sensing movement the blue thing turned to look back at the girl," Laaaaprass~!" It let out a soft cry. Adelaide blinked,' a Lapras? Wait what happened? I thought.. the wave..' she thought as she slowly began to remember what happened.

"Ozzy... Auntie..." she muttered, knowing they didn't make it, she saw her aunt go... Ozzy was no where in sight... but what are the odds of him surviving?

Blinking Adelaide's heart started to beat faster, her Gothita! Did she make it?! The sudden quite cry confirmed she did infact, make it.

Looking behind her she noticed her Gothita sitting against one of Lapras' spikes, seeming quite tired. Letting out a sigh of relief, Adelaide shifted around and scooped up her dear Pokémon in her arms and held onto her closely, she was the only thing she has now.

Up ahead Adelaide had finally realized the sandy beaches up ahead. She turned to the Lapras," I am truly grateful for you saving me..." she said quietly.

The Pokémon's eyes softened as it glanced at the child on its back," Laaa~ La lap~." It cooed and nuzzled the girl in a comforting manner. Smiling slightly, Adelaide raised her hand to stroke the blue water type Pokémon.

Finally on shore the young heiress slid off the Pokémon, wiggling her toes in the soft, damp sand with a rather unappealing look on her face. She turned back and thanked the Lapras once more.

She gazed upon the sandy beach she had now arrived on, wet, cold, and afraid. She began to walk towards land, freed from the watery grave. Her Gothita was held gently in the girls arms as she shivered from the cold air, the shock and adrenaline having faded, she was now beginning to feel the aching of her body and the bitting cold.

The Lapras let out another cry, as if wanting to stay with the young Heiress, though it would be rather difficult to move on land. Adelaide turned back around, pausing for a moment before walking back to the blue Pokémon.

"Here." She said as she untied the small ribbon from around her neck and tied it around the ear of shelled beast. "As a thank you and for when we meet again." She smiled softly before continuing her way to shore.

Adelaide was exhausted, yet she still held her tired little partner in her arms, who had fallen asleep. She was glad she had at least one living being still with her.

She had made her way inland, not sure where she even was, for all she know it could be a deserted island. Adelaide glanced down at her precious partner and gave a small smile," I'm glad your still with me..." she croaked, her throat felt sore from the screaming and the salty ocean.

She had found herself walking through a forested area," I do hope there is some kind civilization around here..." she muttered to herself, a small frown on her face. She had no way to survive out on her own in the wild, downside to being a princess I suppose...
