Many people get the difference between witchcraft and Wicca mixed up. Many people think it is just that same thing when really its not.

Witchcraft is a practice of magic. Some witches use Black Magic to hurt others while some witches use it as protection. Even though the magic is a use of spells and minerals many think they need expensive things.

Back then the witches didn't just walk into shops and say "oh yea i need herbs." What they did was search the forest for things. Nowadays witches are able to walk into Walmart and get herbs, incense, and jars for kinda cheep.

Wicca, also known as Pagan witchcraft, on the other hand is a religion for witches. Wicca's normally place a pentagram on their alter because it represents elements. Many non-witches think that it means "Satan" or "demonic energy" when really it represents the honor of elements and their direction. In Wicca there is 3 rules, also known as the 3-fold law or the law of return.

The rule of 3 expands of the concept of harm. Wicca's supposedly said that "if a good spell is cast is will come back to you while if a bad spell is cast bad luck will come back to you three times as much." (btw this is something i found online, idk if its true.)

While others say there is three major things it effects:  the physical, emotional and spiritual.

If you have any questions please comment them, I wont be responding to private messages. Also, please tell me if I got the 3 rules and the phrase right. I'm not a Wicca, I only study witchcraft. Feel free if you want to add this to your BOS.
