One year. One year since the assassin business that Pietro once called home was destroyed. Pietro had been coping well, since Clint and the others helped him.
Well, except Thor and Bruce. They were usually in Asgard. But still, they helped when they could.
"Pietro! Want a Pop Tart?!" Clint called from the kitchen.
"Sure babe!" Pietro yelled back, sitting back down on the bed. He was watching a zombie movie, trying to get a concept of the plot. It was just mostly a bunch of people killing random zombies.
"I brought the Pop Tarts and the coffee!" Clint exclaimed, as he threw the food on the bed. He didn't dare throw the precious coffee. He just gently sit the coffees on the side table.
"Thanks," Pietro said, before curling up next to Clint. The blonde male immediately wrapped his arms around Pietro's waist, pulling him impossibly closer.
"No problem, my lovely boyfriend~".
About an hour and three cups of coffee later, both Clint and Pietro had fallen asleep. The movie was over, and a new romance film was playing.
"Hey you tw- oh...." Natasha had walked in. She smiled softly at the two, before adding, "my dorks.." and leaving the room.

An hour later, Clint and Pietro woke up from their little nap. They both had been exhausted from their previous day; an alien was running rapid in New York. Thanks to Pietro's speed, he managed to catch up to the alien and hold it down, while the others captured it.
"Damn, we totally needed that," Clint chuckled, rolling over to face his boyfriend. Pietro hummed in agreement.
"What time is it?" Pietro asked. Clint grabbed his phone and replied with, "7:42." Pietro groaned.
"It was way too late to take a nap." Clint face palmed.
"We deserved that nap," he said, kissing Pietro. Pietro tended to ramble on at times, so a kiss was the thing to keep him quiet.
"Whatever you say...". Pietro sat up and stretched, before getting up. Clint followed after him.
"What're you doing?" Clint lazily whispered in Pietro's ear, grabbing his waist and putting his chin on Pietro's shoulder.
"I'm just going to see what Wanda is doing," Pietro answered, before giving his boyfriend a quick kiss and leaving the room.
This gave Clint time to think. Think about what to get Pietro for their one year anniversary of dating.
"Hey Clint, whatcha' doing?" Tony asked, walking in while typing on his phone.
"Trying to figure out a present for Pietro. What are you doing?".
"You know what I'm doing. Seeing where the fucking rings are now," Tony answered, referring to the rings he had ordered online. He was planning on proposing to Steve.
"Ah, yes. Where were they last time? Tokyo?" Clint joked. Tony faked a laugh.
"Very funny Barton. But about the present, maybe take Pietro out on a date. I'm sure he would enjoy it."
Clint thought hard for a moment.
"Alright. You can plan it, since you've done it so many times with Steve," he said, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Consider it done," replied Tony, before leaving the room.
Clint sighed. He loved Pietro with all his heart, and he knew Pietro felt the same. But he felt nervous. Nervous because their anniversary was in two days. And he wasn't prepared mentally, or physically.
