Sometimes
Even when the road
Is clearEven when
No one
Is thereAnd the world
Gives way
For youYou still hesitate
We still hesitate to walk
To run
To make a stepWe don't understand why
As much as we want to
We just can'tThere is something
Inside us
Which tells usTo wait
To look for
A signTo see what
Lies aheadTo deduce
The consequencesAfter a while,
We become immobile
And can no longer
WaitBacause our feet
Don't respond to
Our thoughts
AnymoreAnd our thoughts
Are nowehere
But in deep comtemplationIn between darkness and light
And we start to move
But there is still
That "waiting"Is it waiting for someone?
Is it waiting for someone. To cheer us up?
To support us?
To help us?To walk alongside
Us.And when the road is still clear
Clouds parted to give way
For the beacon of light to enter
Our domainWe still wait.
Wait.
Wait.Then,
Waiting.For someone?
For someone.To hold our hands
Our handsand tell us,
"Let's go. We have a dream to catch. Ready?"
As s/he smiles, those eyes, crimson-cheeks, and lips.
And the world moves again.
But now,
For the both of you.
