Ivan sat starring at his song to Mylene, trying to hold back his tears as he thought about what Chloe had said. Shutting his eyes tight, he crumbled the song in his hand as tears started to roll down his face. Maybe Chloe was right after all but how could someone be so cold hearted? Lost in his thoughts the boy didn't realize that he was not alone. A purple seemingly harmless butterfly flew around him, waiting for an opportunity to pounce on its prey. Spotting an opening the butterfly fluttered towards the crumbled piece of paper in the boy's grasp, entering it.
The large boy jumped at the sudden change in energy. His emotions felt intensified and he felt as if someone was controlling him.
"Stoneheart, I am Hawkmoth. I wish to help you seek revenger on those who have wronged you. In return I want you to seek out two objects called the ladybug and black cat miraculouses. You will bring them to me in return for your powers. Do we have deal?" Hawkmoth persuaded.
Ivan did his best to try and resist this stranger but his words were so persuading. His emotions soon flared up and all he could feel was sadness and anger. He then narrowed his eyes as an outline of the man's mask appeared in front of Ivan's face.
"Yes, Hawkmoth."
He then let his body be engulfed in a strange dark magic like energy. He could feel it changing him, his mind was now clouded with the idea of revenge. Once the dark material left, where Ivan once stood was now a giant stone-like monster. Revenge was the only answer now.

Marinette and Alya were currently hanging around the open area of the school. They had just finished up with their lunch and were spending their time getting to know the other better. Turned out the two had a lot in common. Though there was one thing that surprised Marinette about Alya.
"So you're into superheroes?" Mari asked.
"Yeah totally. The sense of mystery. Doing what is right when no one else will." Alya said with such passion. "After all it's gotta be tough to do all those things under a mask and not tell a soul who you are."
Marinette looked surprised.
"They don't tell anyone?"
"Of course not. Otherwise their enemies could come for their civilian self or even maybe their families." She then paused and thought about it. "Well there was one case where that happened but let's say it doesn't work in his favor all the time."
Marinette laughed. "I guess I never thought about superheroes all that much. They do sound like they have interesting life."
Marinette then started to remember something. Though all she could hear was a voice.
'So you wanna be a superhero just like him?' a voice asked her.
'Of course! After all he's one of the best! I wanna be just like them."
A giggle filled her ears as she felt a sense of familiarity.
Marinette snapped out of it when she started to notice Alya speak again.
"You know Mari, I think you would make a great superhero!"
"What me? No way. I'm a total clutz and not to mention I can't even stand up for myself against people like Chloe. How would I even stand up or save an entire city?" Mari started rambling.
She then heard the voice again but this time it brought a deep chill within her.
'Mari you'd make a great superhero one day.'
