Chapter 5

We heard a car pulled up in the drive way. Both of the boys jumped off of me and ran to the door. Liam was in the doorway while Luca was walking to the car. I went to go walk out the door but Liam wouldn't move.

"Really Liam, you remember what happened last time."

"That didn't count because i was caught off guard."

"Off guard my-"

"Cassie don't even finish that sentence."

" Well tell Liam to move."

"Move him, that's between you and him."

"OK."

I kicked Liam in the back off his ankle making him lose his balance and pushed him the rest of the way down. Before he had the chance to get me i took off running towards Luca and Travis.

I put Luca in front of me but he stepped to the side and let Liam tackle me to the ground. He started tickling me and couldn't breathe.

"Stop I can't breathe!"

"No because what you did was mean."

"OK s-sorry, now stop please."

"Since you said please and apologized I'll stop."

He had stopped and I was happy I was able to breathe. Luca stood towering over me with a smile on his face. He is the worst brother ever didn't even try to help. He handed me his hand to help me up but i pushed it out of my way. Now he wants to help. I pushed myself off the ground dusting off the dirt. After playing around a little bit me and Travis took off to McDonald's.

"So how does being the royal guard works. Do you get anything you want to if you ask, because if you do that will be so cool." I fantasized about someone baking me a large chocolate cake.

"Um no, but we do over rank the alpha's."

"Oh that is so cool i could get away with so much probably even"- I stopped there. Looking up to see Travis staring at me to continue, so i started back eating.

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Evan though you already did sure."

"How did you get those bruises?"

I stopped eating not knowing what to say because, Luca told me i couldn't tell no one until he takes care of business. Speaking of business he never told me why we came here, i have to ask him about that. As i was thinking about other things i forgot the question that Travis just asked me, so coming out of my own world and back to reality.

"What was the question again." I asked

"How did you get all of those bruises?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"Just answer the question." He said getting angry/

"You cant get mad because i wont tell you." I said ever so calmly.

"Cassie tell me now or we aren't leaving."

"We aren't going nowhere but i am going home, you cant make me stay but i would love to see you try."

With that i stood and started walking to the door when i stepped outside he grabbed my wrist spinning me around. But i wasn't caring about him right now; i felt someone watching me. I sniffed the air and the smell of another wolf fill my nostrils. I turned my head to see my dad beta who by the way was the most vicious and cruel person i ever meet besides from my father. He was growling at me.

"We have been looking for you my dear girl and along with your brother." He said with a scowl.

"Leave us the fuck alone and you can go tell those parents of ours to go fuck them selves." I was pissed.

"Now is that any way to talk about to your uncle."

"You are not my uncle what so ever, even if you were i wouldn't dare claim you."

" Why are you here anyway."

" I was sent here to take you as a prisoner and take your brother too. But why would i do that when we could have some fun."

I realized that Travis was still holding on to my wrist. I pulled it out of his grasp. Malcolm started walking towards me. His eyes were black meaning that his wolf was at the surface. He growled before running speed at me. He took a swig towards my ribs but i blocked him then elbowed him in the back of his head and bringing up my knee so his face can meet. He stumbled back little bit before trying to hit me again, so i caught his hand and flipped him over so his mouth was tasting concrete and twisted his arm before i heard a pop, telling me that i had broke his arm out of place. So all you heard was moaning from Malcolm. Turning my head Luca came walking out of the woods and he was pissed to say the least. I guess i didn't see Liam because he was behind me holding my hands. One of my hands had got free, i spun around to get my other hand out of his grip.

"Liam i cant hold her much longer." Liam yelled to Luca.

"Get off of me!"

"Cass please come down." You could her the plea in his voice so i gave it a try.

I closed my eyes breathing in and out but all i could see was there faces, all the things they did to me, to the people around me, and the person i loved more than anything they killed her because she was trying to protect me, it was like a movie starring the people i hate. My eyes snapped open and i was furious.

"Cassie whats wrong with your eyes. T-There all blue and glowing" he said backing away.

"Luca h-h-her eyes are glowing what do i do." He said finally letting me go when Luca was in front of me.

"Cassie look at me, run home and don't step foot out of that door and when you get there, there maybe someone waiting in the living room."

Once i nodded my head in understanding, Luca finally let me go and when he did i took off into the woods.

Luca POV

The alpha came over when Liam said we were going to the their pack house; i just hope he doesn't ask for anything to eat. We were talking about us staying, he tried to get us to join the pack but i declined. My brother instincts started to kick in which only means one thing, Cassie was in trouble.

"Liam i gotta go!" I yelled running out of the door.

'What's wrong?' he mindlinked me.

'Cassie' was the only thing i said before entering the woods.

They haven't even been gone to long and shes all ready getting her self in trouble. 'Cassie your in for when we get back to the house.' I thought to myself. I reached the forest line that surrounded McDonald's and there stood my father's beta. Malcolm and Cassie were talking at first. But after a while he was growling. He was stalking up to Cassie in a predator like way before running full speed at her. I growled when he tried to hit her in her rib cage. But i could help but laugh when she elbowed and kneed him, he deserved everything he got.

But i did feel for him cause that hurt like hell. I know this because i tried to scare her but that didn't go as planned since i was the test object.

He was still moaning in pain when i had reached him and he was starting to get annoying so i punch him in the face knocking him unconscious. I heard a gasp from behind me. I noticed Cassie was were glowing a bright sky blue. 'Shit.' I run over to Cassie before they see more than they need to i already felt the wind picking up. "Cass look at me, run home and don't leave the house. Nod your head to show me you understand." She nodded her head. "Ok and don't be frightened when you see someone at the house ok." she nodded again. I pulled her into a hug and kissed her head and with that she ran off.

"Travis can i borrow the car i need to take him to the where he belongs?"

"Sure but we need to talk about Cassie it important."

"Yeah just make sure she gets home ok and when i get back all of us can have a talk when our vistor leaves."

And he was off trying to catch up to Cassie.
