Clint And Layla

Clint was bandaging her open wound from shots she got and she steadily let Clint heal her, "I'm very sorry..." Clint suddenly said catching her attention, "I'm weak, and I make you save my life and I haven't saved yours..." he said with regretful eyes staring back at Layla.

Layla ruffled his hair, "Tsk, you're not weak that's just a stage where you need to know what you're weakness is.. Master Harith used to say that to me.." Layla said closed eyed smiling making Clint's heart flatter.

Layla stand up carefully and Clint followed her, "But, we must find them and report back to Master that we succeed" Layla said with dedication in her voice while Clint stared at her face in the side view and pick up his shotgun and guns in the floor. "That's great, but are you okay now?" Clint asked a bit concerned.

"Yeah yeah I'm perfectly fine, this is just a scratch" he said patting his injury. She grabbed her cannon and her googles while Clint waits for her, "Lets go" she finally said, Clint nooded and followed her.

(Meanwhile)

"Diggie, can you hand me those books" Harith commanded as Diggie put the books into his desk. "What's taking those two long?" Harith asked himself in a whisper as Diggie noticed this and spoke, "Let them be, they're going to report to you anyways" Harith squinted his eyes on what he said and simply responded "Yeah"

(Meanwhile)

Clint's POV

"We have to find them!" Layla said determined as she rubbed her arms. "We need to form a plan, a surprise attack maybe" she said as I giggled a bit.

She turned to me with serious eyes, "What?" she asked darkly as I stood up, "If I ever formed a surprise attack I won't need a plan to it, so that the opponent will be unable to figure out your goal" I said as she think placing a hand on her chin.

"You're right! But to make sure I'll make an unthinkable plan" she said as she turned towards me, "You're really carelessly gonna go to them right? Surprise attack with no plan" she said as I snickered.

"Yeah, just like what you said" I said as she sighed.

"Okay then, no time for thinking. We need to hurry" she said and grab her cannon while I reload my guns.

"Let's go!"

(Meanwhile)
Normal POV

"Woah! We're rich as hell!" Claude shouted as he swim at the bags of gold in their abandoned apartment, while Granger look at only one gem and stare at it's angles.

"We didn't even catch a bigger fish, but we'll be for next" he said as he hold the gem and it was shooter by someone and the window breaks to pieces showing a silhouette.

"We won't let you go away!" Layla shouted as she carry her cannon. Claude scoffed, "It's the sweety, where is your partner anyway?" he asked as Clint sneaklying at their backs and tried to shoot them but Granger sensed him and they leaped back.

"Damn it!" Clint said as he jumped at Layla's back, "Bye see you soon!" Claude said as he waved while they're both sitting outside the window pane.

"Oh no you're not!" Clint said as he shoot a net at them in order to distract them. Layla swiftly concentrated a mass of energy to her cannon.

"Time to shine!" she shouted then Granger and Claude was blasted down the apartment, while Clint jumped down to capture them using a net.

"Damn you both!" Claude said with his face all cover in dirt. Layla kneeled in front of him, grabbing Dexter unconscious. Claude gasp.

"You! Give Dexter back!" Claude protested.

"Oh him? Nope" Layla said as she placed the monkey at the small cage. And Clint gets all of their weapon and some treasure inside their clothes.

"This is Commander of district 3 Layla, I sent knights here and please hurry up" Layla called at the walkie-talkie.

And after a few minutes, knights surrounded the two thieves and place them at a high security level prison.

(Meanwhile)

Harith sighed heavily as he dropped at the sofa, "They manage to bring down the long wanted thieves!" he exclaimed as Diggie grin at his mood. "Like I told you, trust them and they'll get the job done" Harith looks at the ceiling and stand up again.

"Harith?" Diggie ask as he saw Harith stand from the sofa, "I had a better idea" he goes to his table and write a note sending it to the two partners.

"Hope they get the best teamwork ever" Harith whispered to himself as he giggled a bit.

(Meanwhile)
Clint and Layla

"Aw man! We got a note from Master Harith!" Layla said as Clint came to her side and she slowly opened it up.

    Dear Layla and Clint,
       You've done a very good job on capturing the notorious criminals yesterday and for the price, I made you two the commander of the 3rd district that Layla's handling. Hope you get a better teamwork as a leader of one district. See ya!

"I can't believe Master complimented us even in indirect!" Layla said squeaking while holding the paper. "Yeah, it even stated that we're good partners and he make us lead the 3rd district" Clint said as Layla slowly blushed as Clint blushed seeing her blush.

"A-about that-"

"We do make a pretty good team though" they said awkwardly at each other and sheepishly laughed.

"I'm still happy that we accomplished Master Harith's request" Layla said as she smiled happily where Clint find it cute....
