RWBY: Remnant's conduit

Chapter 3: Meeting new people and Initiation

The three days have passed relatively quickly for Y/N and now the conduit is heading for the bullhead taking him to Beacon.
Y/N had a brief run with Ruby and Yang and discovered that the two were half sisters and the three had a good talk until Y/N spotted a blond girl in armor who seemed to be on the verge of throwing up.
Y/N: 'Motion sickness probably.' Thought the conduit as he decided to talk with her for a bit.
Y/N: "Hey are you okay?" Asked Y/N as he patted her back as she finished throwing up in a garbage can.
???: "Yeah, I'm good now, stupid motion sickness." Said the girl as Y/N realized what happened.
Y/N: "I see, I'm Y/N Rowe what's your name?" Asked Y/N as he patted he back to help her out.
???: "I'm Joan Arc. Short, sweet rolls of the tongue, guys love it." She said that made Y/N stifle a laugh.
Y/N: "Do they?" Questioned the conduit in a teasing tone.
Joan: "They will, my mom always told me tha- never mind." Said Joan with some hesitation.
Y/N: "Well I think its cute." Responded the conduit which resulted in Joan's face turning as red as a certain cookie monster's cape.
Y/N: "Well I better get going Joan, I hope that I get to work with you in the future." Said the conduit as he walked away leaving a red-faced Joan with steam coming out of her ears.
*****Le Timeskip*****
Y/N has spent his time looking around and is impressed by the many different people and their, in his opinion, many badass weapons. Now, the Bullhead will arrive at beacon in ten minutes and the conduit wants to spend some peace and quiet. Looking around Y:N then spots a spite net to a girl with black hair and amber eyes, but what confused him the most was the black bow that seemed to twitch every now and then.
That confused Y/N until it suddenly hit him that she may be a Faunus and hides her heritage to avoid discrimination. He also noticed the book she was reading and was interested in it. Sitting down next to the girl, he then decided to start a conversation with her.
Y/N: "Hello, I'm Y/N Rowe can I know your name?" He asked the girl curious on what she was reading about.
???: "Blake." Responded the now named Blake in a monotone voice although she briefly blushed when she saw his handsome face, but quickly managed to recompose herself.
Y/N: "Well Blake it's nice to meet you, what kind of book are you reading about." He asked in a curious tone wanting to know what she was reading about.
Blake: "It's about a man with two souls, both fighting for dominance." Blake responded in a slightly less monotone voice as she was surprised someone was interested in books like her.
Y/N: "Well that's an interesting topic, i might just buy that book. Well I'll leave you to enjoy that book." Responded Y/N as the topic of the book sounded really familiar to the topic of karma for conduits. After that the duo continued to sit in silence with Blake giving Y/N an occasional curious glance which the conduit was oblivious to.Eventually, the bullhead finally landed and everyone left and Y/N noticed Joan running to the trash can to throw up. Y/N then approached the girl and patted her back sympathetically, to which she gave a thumbs up.
The conduit then went to admire the view of beacon and in his opinion, it was a great looking academy and he definitely made the right choice attending.

The conduit continued admiring the view of the academy when all of a sudden.
*****BOOOOOOOM*****
An explosion was heard and a white haired girl in a white dress who was covered from head to toe in soot was yelling at Ruby. Recognizing the girl as a Schnee, Y/N the decided to break things up before they escalate any further.
Y/N: "Excuse me, but could you please leave my friend alone, I can assure you she didn't mean for any of this to happen." He asked the Schnee hoping she would listen.
???: "Fine! Because you asked politely I will drop the issue. But may I know your name." She asked in a formal tone while crossing her arms.
Y/N: "My name is Y/N Rowe, may I know your name?" Responded the conduit hoping to gets on the Schnee's good side as he doesn't want to deal with an arrogant rich girl. Blake then walks into the scene carrying a vial of dust.
Blake: "Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of dust in the world. It is also known for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners." She said as Weiss was enraged by that last part as she grabbed the vial of dust from Blake as she stormed off. Blake then headed off on her own and Ruby and Y/N were the only ones left. Joan then showed up and she and Ruby made quick friends. Seeing this, Y/N smiled and headed of to look around the place.
*Timeskip and there is no one that can stop me muahahahahahhah*

Y/N is now walking passing the locker room after talking with Weiss and surprisingly, Pyrrha Nikos whom he respected. Now, the conduit is on his was to the cliffs to begin initiation.
After getting a small speech by Ozpin, the students were launched into the Emerald forest. Y/N managed to use his video wings to fly down to the ground and then he neon sprinted to the ruins where he looked around for a few minutes before finding a red king chess piece and was about to leave when he saw the some of his friends in dangers and immediately rushed in to attack the Grimm. Lighting his chain on fire, he rushed at the deathstalker  and sliced of it's tail and pincers before decapitating it. He then turned around and just in time to see Ruby's epic display at killing the nevermore.
*timeskip yet again*
Ozpin just finished announcing teams RWBY and JNPR and now Y/N  was the only one left.
Ozpin: "Y/N Rowe, you have gathered the red king piece and as a result, you will be placed in a one man squad. Congratulations young man." He told the conduit with a smile while everyone else cheered for him.
And done. Sorry I took so long, I was out of ideas and I had to take a breather. Anyways, if you have any suggestions to improve my story, I will be happy to read them as this is my first story.
