Chapter 15

| Trigger Warning |

Thoughts are running around in my head, and I'm still leaning on the railing of the bridge. I start to shake uncontrollably, as tears start to run down my face.

'Why am I so weak..?' I thought, gripping my hair as I slide down the metal bars.

'Let's just get this over with. Sorry Wooyoung, sorry everyone..' That was my last thought before I plunged into the wet, cold abyss of the water.

I was brushing my teeth since I just woke up... Anyways, I heard my phone go off and notice it was Yunho calling me.

"Hey, Yunho what do you need?" I ask as I walk out of my bathroom and into my closet.

"I need you to check up on Seonghwa for me, please." Yunho replied, desperately.

"Wait why? What happened?" I asked, concerned. I throw on my clothes and put on my shoes.

"He's not fine. I don't have time to explain, just get to him." Yunho said, slightly panicking on the other end.

"Ok, do you know where he is..?" I asked, heading out the door.

"He was heading to the direction of the Twilight Bridge...I think." Yunho answered.

"Ok, I'll talk later." I said, before hanging up and rushing towards the direction of the bridge.

'Please don't tell me... that he's doing what I think he's doing.' I thought. I quicken my pace and see the bridge in the distance.

'If he is, then why would he do it in broad daylight..? Everyone can see.' I slow down, as I see Seonghwa sitting on the floor..but before I could make it to him, it was already too late.

"Damn it!" I yelled out, tears already forming.

'Fuck!'

I ran over to where he jumped and looked over the railing to see him sinking into the water.  I looked over to my right and see there's an opening to get to the river.

'I can still save him.' I rush over to the opening and make my way down to the river.

'Where is he..?' I thought and make my way into the water. I see a glimpse of blonde hair and hope fills my body. I quickly dive in and try to grab ahold of Seonghwa, as he continues to sink further into the water.

My hand wraps around his wrist and I pull him up with me, surfacing up above the water. Air fills my lungs again, and I swim to the shore. I gently place Seonghwa on the ground and take a breath.

"Come on Seonghwa, wake up.." I said, shaking said male.

'I don't know how to do CPR...fuck.' I patted down my pockets for my phone, but it wasn't there.

'Where's my phone?' I look around and find it placed on the ground next to me. I grab it and quickly dial 911,

"Hello, what's your emergency." The line operator asked.

"I need an ambulance now! My friend.." I couldn't finish my sentence.

"Ok, just tell us your location and we'll send one down." They replied.

"I'm at the Twilight Bridge.." I replied.

"Ok, an ambulance is heading its way." They said, I hanged up and cradled Seonghwa in my arms.

"Just hang in there..don't leave yet." I muttered into his soaked hair. I hear the siren of the ambulance, and I see the medics making their way down to where I'm placed with Seonghwa in my arms.
