I have no idea, how this boarding life will be, will i be able to make friends, will they like to be friends with me, thoughts fill my mind and the butterflies in my stomach dances all around

"Here we are " My father squeals as the we reach a huge curved marble wall saying HARVARD MEDICAL SCHOOL. As we enter the campus the whole huge place is crowded with people.

The campus is just as beautiful and eye catching as I thought of it to be. I can't help but think of the library here, it would be much bigger and i will have lots of books to read.

Hundreds of other families are here to leave their children here too, some look excited, some worried and sad, while some are happy and emotional both— like me.

I hug and kiss mom dad a goodbye and promise them a call in afternoon. I watch them leaving the campus and wipe my eyes. I turn around when a middle aged woman voice says "Hello and Welcome to Harvard Medical School! Now all of you follow me to the dormitories" everyone picks up their bags and follow the instructions, and so i Follow her like everyone else

One by one, she checks for the student's name and dorm room number in a register and gives them a key to their room. Finally it's my turn now, she gives me my dorm room key and sends me on my way

I follow her instructions to the room and check for the number 21 on the rooms. As my eyes spots the door which says twenty one, i sigh in relief and slide the key into the wooden door, it creaks open and i gasp. It's too dark and I'm sick of this fear —fear of darkness, i wonder if my roommates would let me sleep with the light switched on in the room. I search for my phone in the pockets of my bags and the room suddenly lights up, i look up to see who switched it on, the girl with blonde hair, smiles at me "hey, I'm zara" oh she must be my roommate
"hey, I'm elisa! Nice to meet you" i smile back

I look around the room, it has two small beds and two desks with a lamp on each one, Not bad at all, now I can happily adjust if my roommate is not some alien, but this one looks nice, i gaze at the girl who just introduced herself as zara and give her a small smile for a hundredth time in less than fifteen minutes, my subconscious mocks me

I clear my throat "Will you be staying here too?" I ask her

Before she speaks something a girl enters the room

"Hey," the stranger says,  she has black hairs settled on her naked shoulders, my eyes travel down to her naked belly tattooed with a quote and then to her face, she has a pierced eyebrow with two silver rings, eyeslashes longed with the mascara, bright red lipstick on her lips and when she opens her mouth to say something, I notice her pierced tongue,

" h- hey ,  are you staying in this room ?" I manage to ask her, pained expressions covering my face already

I know judging a book by it's cover is wrong but I don't think like she has ever been restricted to some rules and no wonder how would that affect me and my studies in this room, mum has always advised me to keep few but quality friends

"Yes I'm, any problem?" she answers rudely and lays down across the bed spreading her arms on the pillow

I look at zara, she gives me a sympathetic smile and I couldn't smile back, She opens the door knob and leaves the room

" n-no not at all, I'm Elisa" i choke, trying to be friendly

"oh well - you must be some new chick here" she rolls her eyes in annoyance
"I'm Linda by the way" she adds

I plaster a fake smile on my face and head over to my side of the room to unpack my stuff
