Hi there! I'm Nerissa Venus and I have a two lovable friends that protected me since we first met, they are so friendly and sweet and I am so lucky to have them.
Their names are Terence Lee and Darren Ward..
When I was at the age of 6, my parents left me to my grandmother because of their jobs, they only visited me when they had a day off or it's vacation. My grandma was really kind and sweet to me, she always makes me smile whenever I feel sad and lonely because I missed my parents.
My parents decided to enroll me on the elementary school not so far from grandma's house. When the school started, I felt so strange because I didn't know my classmates yet, I'm just always quiet and observing the other school children.
Everyday was the same for me until I had struck from the bullies in school, that day they started bullying me because I'm weak and didn't even had a friend. They always laugh at me and tease at me, I would weep that moment because I remembered that my parents weren't there to save me, no one can save me even grandma. I said to myself that moment "I'll be alone here at school and will always be bullied with other children" my tears drip but I suddenly heard someone shouting and came to rescue me.
The two boys came, they stood in front of me and blocked the bullies, "don't hurt her! She didn't done anything bad to you!" A boy said angrily at my right side and that boy was Darren. The boy who stood at my left side was Terence, he came close to me and wipe my tears, "you're safe now," he smiled warmly.
"If you bully her again you will surely taste my fist, got it?!" Darren yelled to those kids a for them to run away in fears.
That day was the first time I had been protected by the two boys whom I never knew before, it was strange but I'm so glad that they came and rescued me from the bullies.
"Hi! My name is Terence Lee and this is my friend Darren Ward," Terence said while pointing his index finger at Darren who was standing not so far with us.
"Nice to meet you! And then thank you very much for rescuing me," I thank them shyly.
"You're always welcome," Terence replied.
"Oh I forgot to introduce my name, by the way... I'm Nerissa Venus," I said.
"We already know your name, maybe you don't noticed but we're your classmates," Darren said to me, "really? Sorry I didn't noticed," I said in a soft voice. Terence suddenly laughed so I wonder why..
"Why are you laughing?" I asked, wondering, "I was just happy because we finally talked, you know, you're really interesting Nerissa," Terence grinned, I don't understand him so I tilted my head and gave a puzzled expression.
After that, Terence, Darren and I became close friends...
We always went to school together, ate lunch together, went home together and played together when it's weekend. I was very happy to be with them, they always took care of me like their little sister and I considered them as my brothers, too.
But...
For a long time they're always with me, I understood what I truly felt now...
I know it was wrong because they are my closest friends, they are very special to me so I just need to keep it to myself until now because I don't want to ruin our friendship.
For now, I'm at the age of 15 and the both of them are at the age of 16, Darren is 2 months older than Terence, we're in 3rd year high school now and even though many years had passed, we're still together and their behaviors still never changed. Darren's still very cool and Terence's still cheerful and cute.
And me...?
I'm still not changing as being weak, I know it's embarrassing but I admit it.
The two of them always care about me, protecting me and love me as their sister
but me...
I hate myself because I feel different.of what they feel about me. Even so, I still hid it because I'm scared that it might happen. I have to hide my feelings or I need to forget what I feel for the sake of our friendship, they are my first friends so I will treasure it.
