My New Home

I felt like I've been in the car for hours now. "Sorry that we live so far away Kara" the man says
"That's ok" I reply back. The we were silent "do we live where there are heaps of kids?"
"Yeah we do" the lady replied
"How old are they?"
"Around your age and the youngest is 3"
"Ok". Then I look out the window. It's so cool seeing the really tall trees. Then we pull into a drive way. I thought we were here but turns we are not. "This is my mum and dad's house" the lady says "now when you first walk in there is going to be a lot of food. You can eat it if you want but don't eat all of it"
So I walk inside and see that there is a lot of people. They all look at me. The first to come over is a lady with short blonde hair wear a very pretty red dress. She bends down and looks at me and I look at her back "welcome to the family Kara" she says and the everyone comes over and hugs me. How does she know my name?!? "Eva" she says
"Hi mum" the lady replies "how are you?"
"Good I'm getting there". So my new mums name is Eva. I wonder what my new dad's name is? "Jonathan how have you been?" The old man says

Everyone sitting on the couch talking and I am sitting there looking around the room. "So Kara" I hear a voice say. I turn around and it's the old man "how old are you?"
"I'm 12" I reply
"Where did you originally come from?"
"Fiji". Then there was a pause. The lady looked at the old man with a mean face. I didn't know what she was looking at him like that for. I think they had a fight "we're leaving now" the lady says. She gets her bag and takes my hand and leaves the house. I sit in the back and we drive off. "Honey I'm sorry you had to see that"not he lady says
"It's ok" I said "I've seen my mother and father die in front of me". The car stopped and they both looked at me with a sad face. "I was 4 and 9. I couldn't do anything". They both look at each other and continued driving.
We got home and I looked at the house. It's was a big house. The house was really big. "You coming in?" The man asked
"Yep I said. I walked in the front door and the house was amazing. It was one level. "This is amazing!" I said
"Do you wanna see your new room?" The man asks
"I have a room to myself?!" I replied
"Yeah. Come and I'll show you" he held my hand and took me to my room. I walked in and I was amazed. It was a pretty blue with writing on the walk saying 'KARA'S ROOM'. The bed was really big. It was white and had black pillows. There was a cupboard that mirrors and a pen stuck to it. "Watch this" the man says. He got the pen and wrote on the mirror saying 'Welcome Home Kara. Love Daddy and Mummy'. I was shocked. I didn't think that this would happen to me.
