After stopping I looked around thoroughly to make sure I lost them. Sighing with relief I walked into a store with little nick-nacks around, and hopefully baskets. I found a two for one deal and decided to buy a plastic large bin for laundry and a smaller plastic bin that wasn't necessarily for garbage but it worked. I awkwardly carried the bins to the counter and smiled at a nice older lady who started to scan them.

"That will be $6.70." I handed her a twenty and waited patiently as she counted the change. After receiving it, I said goodbye and left. I headed towards another store and regretted not buying the bins last because now im awkwardly shopping with bins in my hand. I grabbed an okay looking pack of razors and headed to the check out.

"I bought these bins at a different store, is that ok?" I told the cashier as he scanned the pack.

"Do you have the receipt?" I showed it to him and he nodded. "Your total is $2.30." I nodded smiling and handed him a ten. After receiving my change and package I said thank you and left. I was happy I didn't run into the boys in the stores, that would've been awkward. I put my bag in my bins and headed towards the front again, avoiding eye contact with the people I passed.

I was suddenly stopped by a hand on my shoulder and I squeaked almost dropping my bins. I looked over to see the two boys I had helped out at the entrance. The one with his hand on my shoulder was breathing heavily and smiled at me. He had dark hair and hazel eyes, each eye a different mix of color. He had a straight nose and white teeth. It contrasted his tan skin and full pink lips. He was skinny and well built, not to mention he was, like the cop had said, a foot taller than me. The other was breathing heavily as well and also smiling. He had the same dark hair, white teeth, and straight nose but his eyes were a silver grey. He was the same height as the other and had a similar build but was less muscular. He also had thinner lips and a softer complexion, but both were undoubtedly handsome.

"I'm glad we caught you! Jeez you walk fast...shit." The one with his hand on my shoulder said.

"We did not eat his donut." The other one said and that earned a confused look from myself along with an awkward laugh.

"Okay...if th-" I started to say but the closer one stopped me.

"We're serious. Not lying I promise! See there was this cute little kid and his mom told him he couldn't get a treat. So we too- borrowed, " he corrected himself, "the cops donut and gave it to the kid."

"We didn't expect the kid to eat all of it but we couldn't take it away so we just stood by letting the kid eat it while we watched for his mom and the cop." The other cut in.

"Yeah, and then his mom came back and took him away after he finished so we were just standing there. Then he came back-the cop I mean- and he blamed us-"

"It was kind of our fault." The silver eyed one cut in.

"Yeah, but we were gonna offer to buy him another but then he started chasing us. I don't even know why!" He finished sounding genuinely confused.

"We did put a fly in his coffee once and we tied his shoes together when he fell asleep." The silver eyed one started to get into there harmless prank list.

"Yeah but we didn't purposefully put it in his cup and he deserved it for sleeping on the job." The other defended.

I would've left by now if the boy didn't still have his hand on my shoulder. I stood there awkwardly until the silver eyed boy addressed me again.

"I'm sorry if we scared you before, we just thought it was funny how you fooled Albert. That was hilarious by the way. And we also wanted to thank you for not turning us in." At his last words my cheeks turned pink and my stomach fluttered. My nerves relaxed and I smiled shyly at them.

"You didn't scare me I'm just an awkward person around strangers. Also it was no problem...you know I didn't really like him...not that I don't like law enforcement but I just didn't like him..." I trailed off as I realized I was ranting and they were both staring at me. I smiled and chuckled nervously shifting my bin to one hand and tucking some loose hair behind my ear.

"Your really pretty." The hazel eyed one said and I stiffened feeling awkward at his sudden compliment. I watched as the silver eyed one smacked his head and glare at him.

"What he meant was not to hit on you, he just has no filter....not that we wouldn't hit on you - I mean - That's not what I meant!" He struggled to save his companions words and his own.

I laughed awkwardly feeling bad for putting him in this dilemma even if it wasn't necessarily my fault. "It's okay I get it. And don't worry I didn't take it wrong!" I consoled him even though it was taken wrong at first hearing it. "I really have to go now, but thanks...for thanking me?" I said questionably and laughed at my awkwardness turning to leave.

"Wait!" They both said. I turned not really wanting to wait. I already felt extremely flustered. "Let us help you!" The silver eyed one started.

"For saving our asses back there!" The hazel eyed one finished.

The hazel eyed one being seemingly do-before-think minded grabbed my bin and smiled down at me. He walked ahead leading the way out before I could protest. The other seemingly more down to earth and practical sighed, "I'm sorry he should've waited for you to say yes or no."

I just reassured him awkwardly that it was fine and we headed out towards the lot in silence.
