Dimitri's POV
I was sitting down waiting for Adrian to come out of the changing rooms, I told him to try on the things he liked just in case, from the looks of things he wasn't a fan of colour, most of the items were either black or grey, maybe the occasional white item.
"How does this look?" I heard as the curtain opened, Adrian stepped out and my breathing hitched slightly at the sight. He was wearing white Nike's with black ripped skinny jeans, a white top which hugged his body with a black leather jacket making the look complete.
My eyes roamed him for a few seconds before I cleared by throat and looked away, my cheeks feeling hot as I could see him smirking out of the corner of my eye. "Looks great, really uh suits you."
I stood up and scratched the back of my neck and pointed to behind me towards the rest of the shop. "I'm gonna look around too, I need some uh socks. Come find me when you've picked and tried on everything." And with that I briskly walked away.
I ended up actually walking to the socks section of the store. I have no idea what came over me, I mean yeah he looked good, I've been shopping with my guy friends before and when they've tried items on I've never reacted in the same way when they showed me how things looked, it's odd. I know for a FACT I'm not gay and I'm really not attracted to men in the slightest. It's just weird, how long I stared at him for, and the fact my heart kinda skipped a beat and my breathing went funny, I really don't have an explanation.
Maybe I'm just glad he's finally got some nice things to wear...
I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt a tap on my shoulder, I jumped slightly, holding my heart.
"Jeez don't creep up on me like that." I blew out a breath and looked at his arms which were filled with clothes.
"Did you find any socks then?" He gave a slight smirk. I cleared my throat and looked around for a split second and grabbed the first pair I saw and waved them in the air. "Yep, got em now." I chuckled nervously.
God what am I doing, be normal you fucktard.
He gave me a weird look and a slight nod in response. We headed to the checkout and paid for his things and headed to the barbers not far from the shopping centre.
"So you got an idea for what type of hairstyle you want?" I said as we finally walked up to the barber shop window looking at the men's haircut ideas. I looked at him as he thought, he turned to me with this look in his eyes which I couldn't decipher, "what would you recommend?" He said in a low tone.
I brushed it off and patted him on the shoulder, "anything would look great so off you go buddy." And with that I pushed him into the door.
We finally arrived back at mine after a long ass day, I was glad to be back, I couldn't wait to plop myself on the couch and watch TV, as lazy as that sounds after being on your feet most of the afternoon it really is a motive. I helped Adrian with his bags and put them on the counter. Adrian decided to go for a smart yet sleek haircut, it was fairly short on the sides and the back and slightly long on the top, just enough for him to style and whatnot, he looked good, Alice will be pleased with the progress we've made. By the sounds of it he loved his hair, Alice nagged him prior to today about getting a haircut but he refused, I guess you could say I'm kinda happy that I could take him to get one.
"Go stick your bags upstairs and we can order in and watch a movie if you like, I got a text from Alice saying she'll be helping the manager close up and she said she's going straight home so."
He grabbed his bags and briefly nodded before heading upstairs. Usually I would be kinda bummed out that she wouldn't be coming over, but for some weird reason I'm glad she isn't, which really isn't normal...
"So what we watching then?" Adrian said as he plopped next to me on the couch, I looked over at him and he was just wearing grey cotton shorts, my eyes flickered over the rest of him, god damn it. I pulled my eyes away and looked at the TV avoiding his eyes completely, I could see him staring at me from the corner of my eye, I swallowed hard.
"Anything you want, what kinda genre are you feeling?" I glanced over quickly and noticed him still staring intently at me. I began to feel uncomfortable. "Dude why do you keep looking at me like that, it's starting to freak me out, like do I have something on my face?"
He gave a slight smirk. "No, you just have a really nice side profile that's all." He shrugged and crossed his legs on the couch. I blinked a few times as I stared at him, him no longer staring at me, and I just laughed. "Well um, thank you, I guess?" I smiled sheepishly. I've never been told that before, that's weird.
A nice side profile huh?
His isn't so bad either.
God I need to chill.
I got up and went to the kitchen to find some takeaway menus, I grabbed them all and came back to him sifting threw Netflix. I tossed the menus on the sofa, "pick anything that you fancy, just gonna go change real quick." I said and smiled. As I was about to walk out the door, I heard him mumble, "it's a shame you're not on the menu."
I stopped in my tracks and pretended I didn't hear him. "What did you say sorry, I'm going deaf." I gestured to my ear as I turned around.
"I was speaking to myself, was just wondering if there was any alcohol about."
Ah. Sure ya did.
I pointed to a cabinet in the kitchen, "there's some in there, got some stuff in the fridge too like beers and whatnot, help yourself." And with that I walked upstairs to change.
If alcohol is involved, god, I wonder how this will turn out.
