Katherine texted me the address of the house she was staying at, which I'd learned to be the Salvatore residence. I've heard stories of them, Damon was the notorious bad boy vampire, and his brother was the 'vegetarian' vampire with his humanity, but became a total blast when his humanity was off; when he was the famous Ripper of Monetary. For some reason, it all sounded so familiar to me, I couldn't quite place it. The whole place looked exactly as it had in 1864, which almost creeped me out. I mean, how could I be away from a dead end town for over 100 years and yet it all looks nearly the same, minus the horse carriages and long dresses? Oh, weren't those the days.

The boarding house looked well for being an older house, but it still stood proud and strong. Rarely did I ever return to Mystic Falls, but I can remember once when I had a job here in 1902, the Salvatore Boarding House was in the process of being built. I have to admit, it is one hell of a beautiful structure.

I walk up to the door, prepared to twist the knob, but I was stopped by that annoying force field. I huff in frustration and ring the doorbell. A very attractive man with raven hair opened the door, someone I recognized as Damon Salvatore, I'd seen his picture once from Katherine many years ago, but he still looked relatively the same. "And you are?" He asks me, clearly annoyed. Though I was displeased with the rudeness he showed to me, I let it slide, as I'd promised Katherine I'd cooperate with them, even if I wanted to tear their heads off. "Lena, Katherine called me." I clarify and he nods, averting his eyes from mine.

"Now please, I have business, so if you could get your human to invite me in, that'd be amazing." I smile sarcastically, waiting for him to bring the human out. I could hear their heart beating from here, and it helped me give myself a mental note to find someone to drink before nightfall so I wouldn't be as irritable.

"Elena, can you please come invite her in." Damon calls out. I sigh, leaning against the doorframe. A girl, a spitting image of Katherine, only with straight hair walks in. "Who's she?" The girl, who I presumed was Elena, asked Damon. "My god, you look exactly like her, minus the curly hair." I muse, looking at the confused human girl. "Damon, should I let her in? Can we trust her?" The girl, Elena, asks with caution.

"Ugh, must we do this? I haven't got time for nonsense. I'm a busy woman, just invite me in, I'll take care of whatever mess I'm supposed to clean up, then I'll be on my way." I say with a roll of my eyes, growing impatient.

"Come in." The girl says, growing fearful upon realizing who I am. "I see my reputation precedes me, now, where's Katherine?" I ask, taking off my sunglasses and placing them into my bag. "Lena, is that you?" I hear her voice call out. I speed to her voice, and without warning, I throw my arms around her and envelop her in a hug. "Kat, I've missed you, it's been too long." I grin. She chuckles and tightens her arms around me. "I've missed you too, Lena." She says, pulling away with a smile. "Wanna explain the doppelgänger in the next room?" I ask with a smirk and she smiles. "You don't miss a beat, do you Lena?" She asks with a smirk and I chuckle, shaking my head. "You know I don't, now, what mess have you made that you had to call me here to this dull town?" I ask. "It wasn't me, it was all someone else, basically. Anyway, we need you here because you're the only one with the potential to take down powerful vampires." Katherine explains. "So, who has to die?" I ask, watching as a door cracks open and there's talking, but I wasn't paying much attention. "No one, theoretically, but realistically, everyone." Katherine smirks and I let out a chuckle at the response.

Three people enter the room and I give them a sideways glance, before turning my eyes back to my best friend. "Klaus wants to sacrifice Elena, we want to kill Klaus." She sums up, and my eyes widen.

"Mikaelson? Oh no, no, no, no, no way am I screwing with an Original." I shake my head and her face falls. "Lena, if we succeed, that's one less Original to worry about." She points out. "But if he lives, were all marked." I counter and she shrugs. "Aren't we all marked already? He's after me, I won't have to run anymore if he's dead. And besides, then I can finally come visit you without looking over my shoulder the whole time, along with worrying about marking you too." She asks, and I close my eyes, taking a deep breath. "You owe me big time." I say and she grins happily. "So what's your big plan?" I ask, looking at the three beside us at a safe distance.

"He wants to sacrifice Elena tonight, we have a witch ready to take him down while he's at his weakest, and she'll kill him, boom, back to rainbows and butterflies in Mystic Falls." Damon explains with a smirk. "Sounds all well and good, but how do you plan on getting a witch to harness enough power to take down an Original?" I ask, cocking an eyebrow. "She has the power of 100 dead witches behind her, trust me, she's locked and loaded." Damon answers.

"Okay, now where do I play in?" I ask. "We're gonna have you on standby, then you'll stake Klaus, weakening him even more, and then Bonnie will take him out." Katherine explains. I nod and think for a moment before agreeing. "I'll do it, as long as Klaus comes out of this dead." I say and Katherine grins. "Now What?" I ask, looking at the four of them. "Now, my murderous friend, we wait." Katherine smirks, slinging an arm over my shoulder and leads me to the alcohol and blood stash so generously provided by the Salvatore's.
