Huh? What's this?

I stretch out my hands in front of me. They're transparent. My hair is transparent too. What's going on? What happened?

"/\/\/, NO!" Who's voice is that? Sounds familiar. Falling, falling, death. Death? Am I a ghost? Let's see...there's my body! I just missed the patch of golden flowers that would've broken my fall.

Why don't I go explore this place, anyways? I fly around and see a tall goat lady. "Hello?" I ask. She doesn't turn around. I rest my hand on her shoulder, but it just phases through. "Huh? Is someone there?" She asks.

"I'm here," I say. But she just looks around before looking forward again. "Ah, I'm just a silly old lady. It's getting to my head." But I really do exist! Why can't you see me?

I fly onwards and reach a purple door. I just fly through it. It's snowing here. I see a short skeleton and a tall skeleton bickering. They appear to be brothers. "Hello?" I ask again, but get no response.

Again, I rest my arm on the shorter ones shoulder. He flinches and turns around. "SANS? ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" Sans puts his head in his hand. "I dunno Papyrus, probably just my imagination...thought I felt something."

Tears prick at the corners of my eyes. "But I DO exist!" I yell, although no one can hear me. I fly on, desperate for someone, ANYONE, to notice me.

I sigh and look at the floor. I curl up into a ball. "I've already flown through this whole place and NOBODY can see me! Can't I change something?" I then see a button in front of me. "RESET," it reads.

Reset what? It has to be better than this. I press it, and I end up back at the first golden flowers. I see my body sitting there again. I go down to it and touch it. Wait, I remember something!

"/\/\/, NO!" I hear a voice yell. Wait, I remember who's voice it is! Mom! Mom! It's my mom! But why can't I remember anything else?

I fly through the underground, as I've decided to call it again, still desperate for social interaction. I see someone new lying on the floor in the Ruins, as I heard the Goat Lady call it.

"Hello?" The Ghost looks up. "Ohh, a ghost? Like me? Hello...I'm Napstablook..." I smile excitedly and give the ghost a ghost hug. "I'M SO HAPPY TO FINALLY BE ABLE TO TALK TO SOMEONE!"

Napstablook smiles softly. "You're excited...to see...me?" I nod my head and explain everything to him.

"Wow...that's very interesting...no one else can see you? I'm very sorry..." I see the reset button materialize in front of me again. It helped me before, why not try again? "Napstablook, I'm going to go now. See you later?" He smiles. "Bye..."

I press the button. Back at the beginning. I get hit with the same flash back as before. Mom calls for me when I fall, the mountain I remember is named Mt. Ebott. Something new happens every time, it seems.

As I float through the ruins, I see a dummy. Napstablook told me ghosts can live inside dummies. "Hey, are you a ghost?" I ask. The dummy nods it's head. I give it a hug. "Yay! You can see me, right?" It nods again!

The dummy and I chat for a bit and I continue on until I notice something weird in the skeleton house. There's a room, and there's a cute cat girl stuffed animal. "Are you a ghost, too?" I ask.

The cat girl crosses her arms. "What's it to you?" It sneers. I wave my arms excitedly. "Yay! You can hear me! I like your vessel, by the way!" She poses. "Really! Thanks, I guess." I wave. "See you!"

I fly over to Napstablook's house. "Napstablook! Can you remember me?" He stares emptily at me for a few seconds before recollection flashes on his face. "Ohhh...Yeah...my friend..."

Then I give him a hug. "This reset button sure is helping me! I can talk to possessed dummies now!" He smiles softly. "Wow...good luck with everything..."

I summon the reset button, which I guess I can do now, and press it. "Bye Napstablook," I say before everything goes black.

Back at the start, same flashbacks, nothing new. Hopefully this time more people can see me.

As I fly through the underground, I notice nothing's changed, for some strange reason. I then fly into Alphys's lab. She looks up, almost as if she sees me. WAIT, does she actually see me?

Alphys squeaks. "O-oh, w-who are you?" I float down. "You can see me?" I ask. Alphys nods. "W-why wouldn't I?" I rub my neck and explain everything to her.

She takes a deep breath. "W-Wow, this s-sure is a lot to take in...but I think I h-have an idea!" I tilt my ghostly head. "What is it?" I ask curiously.

Alphys looks at the ground. "M-maybe I c-could make you a robotic body?" My eyes widen and I grin. "Really? You'd do that for me?" She nods and smiles. "S-sure! N-now why don't we pick some designs!"

After many hours, we finally come up with a design, and everything seems to be going well until Alphys says "O-oh! I n-never caught your name!"

I gulp. "U-uh...I can't exactly remember..." I say sadly. Alphys makes a sympathetic look and says "Why don't we come up with one then?" I nod my head. "Great idea!"
