Chapter 3

"Ok. I was wondering if you want to show me around school tomorrow?... Only if you want to!"
I didn't want to ask a stranger.

"I would love to! but I can't . she said frowning but continued.
"I have practice half the day tomorrow. I can skip it though." she said.

I thought about it. It wasn't bad she skips one day, right?
No, she should go to practice.

"No it's fine go to practice. it's ok!" I answered.

"Alright. I'm so sorry!" she said.

"It's ok." I smiled.

"See you tomorrow ." she ran to car, and waved.

Monday
I got out of my car, and went straight to the office.

The lady was on the phone talking really loud.

Hurry the fuck up! I thought to myself.

After a good 5 minutes she hung up.

"Hi, what brings you here?" she said with the most fakest smile I've ever seen.

"I'm new here. I need my schedule." God 3 seconds and she's already on my fucking nerve.

"Yeah . Ok. What's your name?" she said sternly. I don't think she likes me back.

Like a give a fuck.

"Shawn Mendes." I say.
Trying to calm myself.

"Yeah ok. I'll be right back." she says going to the printer.

I look out the office door. I see lots of people, my age, not my kind of style. It's cool though . I don't give a fuck.

"Here is you schedule and a map. if you want to use your locker your more then welcome too. but most kids take their backpacks to class." She explaining everything. "And your helper will come in a bit so just sit down." I don't listen and stand.

It was about two minutes then a guy came in.

"Are you Shawn?" he asked.
He was my helper I guess.

"Yeah here's my classes." I pass him my schedule.

"Ok . I'm Nash by the way. And luckily we have 4 classes together and 1st hour together too!" He says. His eyes were awesome. They are blue.

Yeah it's weird I'm looking in his eyes but I'm respectful and look into people's eyes when they talk.

"Come follow me." He says.

I follow him upstairs. I see Dani, I thought she wasn't gonna be here in the morning. She was surrounded by lots of guys and girls. Then one guy hugged her and kissed her. Oh.. she's dating someone.

"Hayessss!" everyone screams.

"That's my brother Hayes, he's one year younger then us. He's popular, and people say I'm popular too and he's technically dating Dani" she says.

"What do you mean 'technically'?" I asked.

"Well they like each other but Dani isn't allowed to date yet. which sucks cause she's 16." he explained.

"Oh. well that's cool."
Wait he's popular ?!

"You're popular ? " I ask.

I don't really want to be popular but Nash is a nice guy.

"Yeah bro, we've been living in L.a. for our whole lives." he says.

"Oh that's awesome!" I say.

We walk into a science room. Which was pretty cold, to be in.

"Mrs. David this is our new student his name is Shawn." she seemed nice.

"Aw yes, I see. nice to meet you Shawn. My name is Ella David. please take a seat any where. Since Nash is your helper I recommend sitting close to him, if you like." she explains.

I sit down next to Nash.

"Hey Babe"
"Hey Nash."
"Hey bro how was your weekend?"
"What's up Nash?"
People were talking to Nash.
Damn is he really popular.

"Ok babe see you after class love you." I hear a guy say behind me.

"Hey Dani." one girl said.
"Hey Leena" I hear dani say

"Oh hey shawn." dani said smiling
"Whats up " I simply answer.

I'm mad at her. she lied to me but whatever ."

Lunch
I sit by Nash and his friends.

"I'm Cameron"
"I'm Carter"
"I'm Aaron"
"I'm Jack but call me Johnson"
"I'm also Jack but call me Gilinsky"
"I'm Taylor."
"I'm Matthew"
"I'm Jacob"
"And I'm Mahogany. Jacob and I are dating." She said smiled.

"Nice to meet you all!"
